For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and Triple shot espressos, with beans from Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Coffees, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a Venti quad almond roca infused mocha, with chocolate caramel whip, garnished with caramelized almond clusters, chocolate shavings, a dusting of crystallized caramel and dark chocolate drizzle. . OOOOOOOOOOO!,............OH! Tea infusions too, by request. they is primo! I SWEAR! Today: Christmas Morning Merry Mint! and..... since it is Christmas: Eggnog!, very special Eggnog! Quad shot! With extra cimmamum...

Yesterday was................ the day before Christmas! and a yellow and pink stripped day. It was kind of a roller coaster type of day. Great amps, nice spike back down, back up, back down.... made me dizzy! :lol: The pattern was similar to the day before. Nothing to terribly spectacular... I am really hoping that he settles into this new dose soon. We had one really good cycle, and nothing much since. I really believe that the past few months, and all that has gone on with him really messed him up, BG wise, appy wise, and it may take come doing to get him back on track. Since he takes a long time to settle we will give him a few more days to see how things go. The new foods are going well, he's eating very well too. He has discovered however that I sneak pills in his fuds... manages almost every time now to spit them out. :roll: :roll: Administration that last few times have been by manual insertion, much to his dismay. :lol: :lol: Remember Mannie - think blue, think green! He has been very busy searching for his present from Santa Claws.. He knows it's there - that little nose is working overtime. :lol: :lol: :cool: He had a good day yesterday. I had a table and chair set to assemble for DGS and Mannie was my supervisor. He watched, I assembled... Excellent supervisory skills I think. Maybe he thought that if he was extra helpful I'd put in a good word to Santa Claws and maybe he could have one of his presents early. I did cave and gave him one early. One happy kitty! It was later in the day when I cooked what I could for dinner today - stuffing for the turkey is always made the day before, as it really does tastes better then. It's made with lots of things, and has sausage and bacon in it. OMG.... I had forgotten how much he loves bacon. That was a kitchen asst chef for sure, he kept looking on the floor, hoping I had dropped a piece. :lol: :lol: :lol: NOPE! This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (YES!!!), purrs and lots of cuddles. With encouragement, normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Hey everybody! What a party last night! I had such fun, and loved being able to cook once again for all my LL friends. You guys are the best. I was thinking... it's Christmas and All and I really would like to spread some Christmas cheer and holiday spirit to all the kitties who are sick, in shelters, or the vetty or don't have homes. Maybe we could load up the bus with all our cookies we've made all week, and the make some more Christmas dinner fuds and visit those who need a little help. and some good times. and just a friendly kitty face. A road trip full of good cheer! What'd'ya think? You guys in? ~~ Mannie

Merry Christmas, Michelle and Mannie! I love bacon, too, Mannie. But I grew up on a pig farm, so it was required. :-D Maybe some blues today?

Morning Michelle, your stuffing sounds really good with the bacon in it. I think Liz and I are both hungry. Are you doing the big shabang dinner for all? Nice sunny yellow for Mannie, and I hope, too, he settles into the dose. He's a smartie with the pills. I just have the one Pepcid for Mags, and that's sometimes a challenge, too. :lol: So when does Mannie open his nanners present. Maybe a video? :-D Is today DGS's birthday? bacon thoughts.
My ds likes to tease his sister about bacon. ( she's grossed out by it now) but I got him good.
I found a bunch of bacon flavored novelty items ( bacon gum, bacon bandaids, bacon jellybeans, etc...)
I got him the bacon lip balm. It was so funny when he pulled it out .... and then he put it on his lips. Eeeeueueuw.... :lol:

Glad Mannie's appetite is returning. Think Blue today Mannie, you can do it! Hope you have a wonderful day with your family. Funny what you said about Mannie supervising the table and chair set up. Scrabble is the same way, any time there is a project or something going on in the house he sits right there and watches sniffing around. Too funny.

Merry Christmas Michelle. I hope you had a great dinner and birthday party rolled into one. We had back bacon for Christmas morning. There is something about bacon today which says it's special.
