Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to LL

It's snowing outside

It doesn't snow on Christmas Day too often here. I can only remember a handful of times going way back to my childhood. Last year was a warm winter so we hadly got any snow all season, not that I'm complaining

Does anyone have exciting plans for today? I'm going to a lunch thing at the assisted living place where my great aunt lives. Later Mom is going to make a special holiday dinner thing. My family has never really celebrated Christmas with all the gifts and decorations and stuff.

So last week I made cookies to give to the management team at work. I got thank yous from three people. I didn't get a thank you from the remaining two people :? I saw one person twice last week and even talked to him but he didn't mention the cookies :? Is a simple thank you too much to expect these days? confused_cat A Post It note with a thank you scrawled on it and stuck to my computer monitor or a quick email would have sufficed.

The local radio station usually plays that song every Christmas season but I haven't heard it at all this season. I barely got a thank you when I dropped off cookies at my vet's office, but they were very busy too, yesterday.

Good morning and Merry Christmas. I wouldn't stress too much about not getting a simple thank you from some of your co-workers. Think of the good feeling you had when giving the cookies and that the thank yous that you did get were sincere and heart felt.

It's so nice of you to give some of your time today to visit your great aunt at the assisted living facility. Enjoy your dinner at your mothers.
