We got blues overnight! We don't see that too often. Tessa ate her breakfast but didn't rush to steal her sister's leftovers (they're still sitting there) but I'm taking that as a good sign because that means she's not ravenous like she used to be.

Libre sensor and manual glucometer readings were further apart this morning but the Libre had an angled down arrow meaning that the numbers were decreasing between 1 and 2 mg/dL per minute so that likely explains the larger difference. The Libre sensor lags behind the glucometer.
 
These late nadirs are throwing me off, it's so odd how going up just .25u is making her nadirs so late. She also hasn't been very hungry today, she only ate at 7am (AM shot time) and noon (+5). I'm scanning her frequently to make sure her numbers don't start dropping too much. If they do, I'll offer more food to her. Otherwise I'm just gonna let her do what she wants. She's snoozing on the bed with her sister, they've been snuggling together pretty much all day.
 
Her numbers are looking so good today! We had a bit of a scare earlier right before her PM shot. The Libre alarm went off on my app saying that she had dropped to 53 and it had a down arrow indicating that the numbers were dropping further. We tested her manually and her blood glucose was 104. We tested a second time and it was 100.

We then scanned her again and the Libre said 102 so I am fairly certain it was a compression low which is a false reading caused by her laying on the sensor. I'm going to give her some more food at +2 and leave some food out overnight just in case but I am pretty sure it was just a compression low and nothing to be concerned about.
 
She just had another compression low, very annoying! I think the placement of this sensor is the problem, it's further back than the first two so she's more likely to lay on it.
 
Loving the long stretches of blues and greens she is seeing on this dose. It's great that you can verify wonky Libre readings with the meter!

Yeah, I'm glad I have a backup meter because I'd be panicking right now if I didn't. She had another false alarm. It took me a couple tries to get enough blood but the manual reading was 92 but the Libre was saying 57. I gave her some more food and then scanned the Libre again (right as she started eating so food couldn't affect the reading yet) and it was 96. I'm considering turning off the low glucose alarm overnight but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. I don't want to be woken up by a bunch of false alarms but I don't want to sleep through a hypo if she actually does drop overnight.

What do you think?

I'm planning on leaving some food out, it will be Weruva paw lickin chicken (~3% carbs per catinfo's chart) which she will eat but it isn't her favorite.
 
I'm going to leave the alarm on, hopefully it doesn't go off but it will be there if I need it. I'm starting to run kind of low on test strips (I have about 20-25 on hand and I went through 4 this evening just trying to get 1 test, I can only imagine how much trouble I'll have if I get woken up in the middle of the night lol) so if the alarm does go off, I think I'll get up and wait 2-3 minutes and scan her. If it's still low then I'll manually test and go from there.

Going to leave out a small amount of food in my office and in the bedroom just in case. I plan on getting a timed feeder soon, I just haven't had time to look through reviews to pick the best one.
