Good morning ~O) ~O) ~O) Sending healing vines and prayers to all in need.

I don't know what Ollie is doing. I have delayed an hour...which is as long as I can this morning....and he is still in the 40's :? Last night he was 110 and then seemed to surf the 90's until I went to bed. He did sleep with me most of the night...a big purry pillow...I have to wonder how low he went. First AMBG was 46, then 44, then 42...all pretty much the same.

Thanks for all the support and ideas yesterday about handling Ollie's low numbers and my travel on the 27th. You all have taught me well...I would never have been able to manage Ollie without the help of this wonderful LantusLand family :YMHUG:

I did contact the vet and they don't have anyone available for this trip but assured me they would be able to help me out in the future. My friend will shot a BCS without testing. Of course now he has done this so I'm not sure how comfortable I would be about that. :? She will also spend a lot of the day with him while I am away so he will have food and company.

This morning I get to go to the barn and feed Christmas treats to all my bosses horses...best part...boss isn't going to be there :-D . This is the first year all (about 25) have been shipped to Florida for the season...so the entire "racing team" and I finally get to meet. One of them has already broke the track record winning a race at Gulfstream and he will be working out today.

Just did one more test and Ollie is 43...skipping is good for now. I'll be back to him at 2pm and see where he goes by then.

Christmas green for Ollie! WOW, and impressive. I concur, skipping seems like a good option.

Hard to believe Ollie is still in nice numbers and we are 21 hours after his last shot. I would like to wait and shoot at 8pm tonight but I am leaning to earlier so I don't completely use the shed. He's went up a lot from +19 to +21.

The horses were way too sweet. I got updated on their progress and know where they are located in the barns so I can appear to be on top on things when I bring my boss there next week. They loved the treats and non stop attention. Actually got a lot more done than when I could have on a regular day.

you might think i'd been waiting forever to use that saying...but it just occurred to me when I was singing

It looks like you've got some left over shed action driving the numbers this cycle.

For future reference, if you get numbers in the 40s at shot time, you typically want to give a bit of LC. The rule of thumb is to "feed the 40s."
 
I decided to shoot at +23 for PMPS. Ollie was 122, I did not take a reduction for today's action, just for yesterday's 39. I guess time will tell. I will keep an eye on him tonight.
 
You did the right thing. If this was shed action, taking back-to-back reductions typically doesn't work well. I gotta say, that's a great PMPS!!
