Yesterday started out with a nice yellow bookends to green day, and since it was the second cycle in a row with greens, she bounced in the night. :oops: But I got sleep! :-D

Neko is feeling a little more active today. She is now on her third trip outside - it's gray but not raining. She seems to be feeling good, although neither cat has been under the Christmas tree yet. Normally Neko likes to sleep under there. Maybe tonight if I put the new wrapped nanners under there!

Today and tomorrow continues as crazy busy. I got my truffles done yesterday, and the slab ganache is ready for cutting and enrobing/decorating. I don't have to get them all done today. We get together with DH's family tonight (eating out) and on Boxing Day (also DH's birthday) and give gifts to them on Boxing Day night so I can finish the chocolates that day. Today is getting ready for tomorrow on the island with my family. As my mother is 90, we divvy up the dishes to be made. Neko will be traveling with us, for my sanity. Poor Theo will be by himself and get a latish dinner but I'll leave him some frozen stuff for a mid day snack. Neko has been to my parents before but not for many years, they live in a log house at the edge of the woods. She'll be allowed to free roam for the first couple of hours if she wants, then I'll lock her in a spare room when my DB and his family and small dog show up. (and the turkey comes out). I'm not sure yet where we'll be at shot time, so will bring that stuff with me. I think their tomorrow nights treat will be rabbit. Yumm (for them).

Glad to hear Neko is feeling more active today! Hope she enjoys her little trip to your parent's house (and hope Theo behaves himself while you all are away!) Merry Christmas, Wendy! Safe travels and enjoy all those goodies and truffles and such!!!!

Great, surfing the 50's! Just low enough to be a distraction and not low enough for a deduction. :lol:

@Deborah - Neko does seem to feel better with the good weather, and also indicates when she is settling into a dose. Our trip is only 20 minute drive followed by 20 minutes on the ferry then 5 minute drive. Not far, but a bit remote if Neko goes low.

Nice greens for Neko today. :mrgreen: I hope you have a good time with all of your family get togethers over the next couple of days. I hope Neko is good for you on your trip to your parents' house tomorrow. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to your DH.

Whew! Coming up. It's getting close to Neko's +9 snack and I didn't want to give her anything with carbs in it because Neko has working pancreas. I don't want her pancreas to drive her lower, but I didn't want to pull out the gravy either. We should be good to go for her snack. We are leaving right after for Christmas Eve dinner. I'm hoping we'll be back in time for her shot, but it might be late tonight.

@Carla - it is hard to relax with all the goings on at Christmas. But now I know Neko is a better traveler, so we might be going to the island more often together now.

@Melissa - Thanks, it turned out to be a great day for her. Just a one cycle bounce between greens. :-D

@Liz - I put catnip under the tree - she was literally rocking under the tree. :lol:

Another gorgeous day for the gorgeous girl!!! Hopefully, she'll decide to get under the tree tonight maybe!

And Neko finds the other Christmas colour that goes with green. :YMSIGH: We were out for dinner and it wasn't looking like it was going to end anytime soon, so I took a cab home. We had taken MY car to dinner as we gave a ride to others, and I took the cab home. Harrumph! Just as well, DH arrived home an hour later. The shot was late as it was.

Santa's bakeshop is winding down for the night and Neko is giving me a pass to ease off on testing tonight. :-D Since Christmas is here already, have a Merry one everybody!!!

@Barb - I didn't find time during the day for much, but the night has been busy! You can tell Checkers that Neko does red too. :lol:

@Marje - Neko was briefly under the tree when I was sitting near it. Tomorrow (er, later today) there'll be a nanner or two there to encourage her.

@Nancy - Those of us with big gulpers need to help each other where we can as there are fewer of us. Sometime soon you'll be looking at more greens too, but hopefully he's not as much of a bouncer. :roll: I'll tell Neko that she should spend more time under the tree like Pepper does.

@Helen - Neko did look like a green tree for a while today, but now she's reaching for the star on top.

@Michelle - Hello fellow green kitty person. Neko has dropped from high 400's to a reduction, so this was mild by her standards. :lol: I'm pretty sure Neko will be fine traveling. It's not that long in the car.
