Typical yellow. We probably need to go up to 2 units soon.

Leroy had hard dry crumbly poop that wouldn't really come out. I had to glove up and remove the small piece that was poking out his butt. Fortunately Leroy tolerated that. Then he went back into the litter box and pooped out some normal poop. I gave Leroy some Miralax with his dinner. Hopefully that will take care of things until Monday when the vet's secretary is back. We worked out a plan for Leroy in case he has issues over the next few days. It's all in his records if I have to call and speak with whoever is covering for the vet. Basically Leroy is managed at home as much as possible unless it's obviously an emergency.@cecile & bella had posted about getting Lantus real cheap at CVS, I think? I'm not in the US, but it looks like the price of Lantus has dropped quite a bit. I've also heard of people using the Lantus Savings Card (although not all pharmacies honour that for pets) and coupons from GoodRx. The Glargine generic is another option. What happened to the sticky about sourcing insulin for less? Did the info get outdated? Leroy will need a refill soon.
Yes, the last 2 times I bought it, it dropped to $21 and then $20 a pen at CVS, from over $100 a few months ago, without using any coupon.Does he have chronic constipation or was this a one-off thing? (I don't see it in his profile and I have no experience with IBD).
