The kitties got a little special treat this morning and had a FF Appetizer topper on their 1st Breffis.

I need to go to the vet to pick up some prescriptions. They are open until 12:30pm. I usually bring them a plate of cookies. I have to make them. I think I will go btb for an hour and then make them.

How thoughtful of you Dyana to bake fresh cookies for the vet staff! I'm with Jane, homemade goodies is also my very favorite thing to receive :-D

Allow me to vent: I always bring cookies to the vet at Christmas. At 9:00am, I rush to the store because I need eggs and cinnamin. At 9:30am, I arrive home and measure and mix and measure and mix and measure and mix and measure and mix (yes, it's a 4 mixing type of cookie) and start baking by 10:00am. I bake maybe 4 batches by 11:30. I wrap up a plateful and add a red curly ribbon, and take them to the vet's office. As usual, they are super busy. This time (I guess because I was standing there), I got a brief and very small "thank you". Not even a smile. Last year and years previous, I barely if even ever got a "thank you". If only they knew, I got up to bake these cookies for them. Done venting.

J.D. is enjoying his Christmas Eve. He had a large shrimp and some MC at +5.5, and another large shrimp at +6. :mrgreen:

Wow, very unappreciative :sad: Hopefully, someone took note of them later, and said, or thought, Boy, that J.D.'s mom is sure sweet to take the time to make us home baked, delicious cookies! And then they argued about who gets to take home the ones that are left at the end of their day :lol:

I'm so sorry they didn't show more appreciation. I think any time anyone takes the time to make homemade cookies, it should be greatly appreciated because so many people don't bake anymore. I'd have thanked you profusely.

I am so sorry that the vet staff received your gift so rudely. I don't know what they were busy with, but what they are supposed to be busy with is customer service, and they really dropped the ball. That was really unacceptable. I have been doing work placement at a vet's office, and I am so pleasantly surprised at how thoughtful some clients are to bake treats for the staff. I know that where I "work", the gifts are very much enjoyed and appreciated.

I am happy that J.D. is enjoying his Christmas Eve shrimp. Merry Christmas, Dyana.

J.D. got to the point where he was looking for a shrimp at each test.

I guess I better test him at +1, and see if I'm going to give him a bit of R.

Unfortunately, Ginger got yelled at today. They both went down into the basement. Ginger was laying on the steps about 5 steps down from the top, and J.D. was on his way back up the stairs. J.D. was trying to figure out which way was up and was circling on a step nailbite_smile and I watched as one time he made the circle around, and the other time he suddenly went down a step because his front paws went off the edge. He finally gets pretty far up and is starting to pass Ginger and Ginger grabs him in a head lock (on the stairs). @-) :? :sad: :-|
She's hiding somewhere now. I have to go find her and tell her she's loved even though she's naughty. I do love her, I just wish she wouldn't act like J.D. can see.

I gave him what I thought was 1 drop of R at +1.5. Sometimes, I think I should not be allowed to have R. :YMSIGH:

He is eating well. He ate his 1st Dinner at PMPS.

At +1.5, I gave Ginger the rest of the MC that J.D. didn't eat today, for her 2nd Dinner to make up to her for scolding her, and J.D. got a dab of the MC juice on top of his 2nd Dinner of LC, and he got at least 5 of Ginger's treats too (because it's Christmas, and he's old and I spoil him)..
..and he still dive bombed.

He just ate his 3rd Dinner.

Hopefully, he's on a surfboard. Although, he's going to bounce to the moon after that one.
Before I tested the +4.5, I was afraid he wasn't going to eat anymore as he has been eating his 4th Dinner for the past hour, and was ready to get out the MC as I thought he would keep dropping. Onset of Lev is about now, so I'll have to keep testing.

Hopefully, we'll get to bed before Santa comes.

Nice numbers, and you do so great keeping him surf!

My Ginger gets yelled at too sometimes.
She used to hide behind the closet door where I keep their LB while Lucy was in there, and attack her as she came out.
I was so mad! :-x
But eventually I ended up removing the closet door.
I think orange girl kitties are bound to be naughty.

Sorry about the rude staff at the vet, but I'm sure lots of people working inside appreciated them very much!

Sorry about the rudeness of the vet staff. I bet when they taste them they will they were more thankful.

J.D. numbers look good; I know you had some steering to do. I don't know how to measure those small doses. Must be tricky.


I like the way that your pets get special food on holidays. Lovey never had a shrimp. I should try it.

As far as Ginger goes, I guess she doesn't realize that Santa is watching.
