Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! They have Christmas pies too. They look like trees, and snowflakes! They is crazy. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! And cheery cherry eggnog! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I love cheery cherry Mondays. :cool:

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. I spent mine at home, with a few local hikes to add some outdoor time to a weekend full of chores and errands and general relaxation recovery time from a busy week with the boys, and an exhilarating snow day. Sunday was an outdoor day for me, at least in the late morning. I went to the shore, had a decent time, me and the fog. ;-) At least it didn't rain! It was so quiet, not many people out early in the morning at all. A few hikers but no one else on the shore. Here's what I wrote yesterday about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well here, another laid back relaxed day. I am so glad most of my holiday sutff is done, so I can have these laid back relaxing weekends. We have been fogged in most of the day. Once the rains stopped the fog was right on top of that, and it never did break. It's not as dense as it was a few weeks ago, but it is one of those fogs that leaves droplets on all it touches. It was kinda wet out there. Once the downpour stopped I headed on out, just the usual place, but it was nice. One knows when it is foggy or wet at Meadowdale most people stay home. I saw one couple on the trail, no one on the beach. That was kinda nice. Just me, my thoughts and the fog. I really like fog, when I can spend time in it like today. Love the way it makes things look. kinda cool."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Yesterday I came home from my shore hike to the cats terrorizing my poor Christmas tree. :shock: Lola was up and down the stalk, circling around the middle inside the tree and flying out again. Bug was chasing her around the tree from the ground. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :o :o :o :o :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: That poor tree was swaying and wobbling and shaking every time she flew out of the middle. Amazing that is is till standing. It was bedlam. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: AND... I didn't have my camera! missed the photo shoot of a lifetime. Then again, knowing Lola, there probably will be more.... ;-) She seems to prefer the Santa Ornaments. oh oh.... not a good idea to mangle Santa.... While Bug likes the round rolling ones, when Lola is kind enough to bat him one. :lol: :lol: He still has not made any attempt to go up the tree. GOOD KITTY! and Elsa? She could care less. :lol: :lol: :lol: Kinda the way things are around her these days. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. I still have Christmas Wrapping to finish, so that will be the morning focus. I'd really like to be able to get out some too, visit the mountain passes, just to see some snow on those mtns, but alas... probably won't have time. if not, then I hope to be able to take a trek to the shore later in the day.

Bummer on the fog, but sometimes that is kind of cool. It is so quiet and serene. Oh my on the kitties and the tree. Bug knows he just has to send Lola up to get what he wants. I hope your tree stays standing. Just two more days kitties!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) I enjoyed the "fog walk", it was kinda cool. oh yes on the kitties. Sure was crazy for a bit here yesterday. If we can just get that tree through Christmas.... ;-) THX on today - it should be good.
 
Wow on Bug and Lola and the Christmas tree. I'm surprised it was still standing. :lol: The e-card is perfect for Lola. :lol:

I love the fog pictures. The first one is cool. You caught some birds in that tree. I hope you get a nice walk in today.

Sorry I missed your condo yesterday, but very happy that you are having a relaxing weekend with kitty antics to amuse you and Meadowdale to refresh you. Wow, I hope that Xmas tree makes it to Christmas! Love the card Chris sent you!!

Have a fine day today, getting ready for the big event. I hope you get out on a hike or walk. Here the streets are too dangerous for walking: lots of ice. We may have to drive to the post office!

Elsa: keep that delicious ~O) coming! We'll really need it tomorrow morning, when we fill our thermos for the holiday trip.

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics. I liked that first one too. Those birds just stood out, looked kinda cool just sitting there. oh yes on Lola and Bug yesterday. All one could do was watch: to interfere would have gotten then both really wound up, so I held my breath alot and danced the happy dance when they were done, and the tree was still in an upright position. :shock: :lol: THX on today - I do too!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) no worries on the condos. THX on the weekend, I en joyed it. Relaxing ones like that don't happen all that often, so it was really nice. Ever so true on the kitty antics, and Meadowdale. :-D WOW on your streets! I wondered how all that was going - so many affected by ice storms. I'd take snow any day over ice.

Morning Pam ~O) ~O) ~O) O.M.G. on that tree! I truly cannot believe that it is still standing,. The stand that holds it all is broken, and I have had to weight it down with weights, and prop up one side where there is no support. Amazing that it is surviving.... :shock: :cool: It was nice to see Bug in there too. He's so laid back that little phases him. He does like to play though. Elsa is their supervisor. She shakes her head alot. :lol: Good luck wit your wrapping and errands. Once that is done here, I too am DONE! Short of cooking for dinner on Christmas. THX on today - off I go once the weather is better this afternoon, and the "chores" done.

Your foggy walk sounds great. I love the fog too, well, I'd better considering how much we get there! I hope you got all the wrapping done early and made it to the mountains!

The fog makes it all look so quiet and peaceful - totally different prespective :-D and very cool!
Sounds like Bug is getting used to the tree and wanting to participate in the decorating :lol: :lol:
We used to wrap some fishing line around our old tree and then hook the line to some nails in the wall. This kept the tree somewhat upright ;-) My current kitties are not that into the tree, just knock a few of the lower ornaments off.

LOVE the fog pics, Michelle. It completely changes the setting, doesn't it?
Same thing here yesterday. I walked out of the house to bright sunshine, "hiked" 500 yards to the beach, and it was like another world.
Without the fog, this would just be a bunch of dead trees laying in the mud!

Poor Lola isn't going to know what to do with herself after the holidays when the ornaments and tree are taken down. ;-)

LOVE Santa's list!!! What are these kitties going to do once that tree is down? And what are WE going to do, once all the Lola-appropriate LOLCat Christmas tree memes stop popping up :lol: ???? Maybe you need to leave the tree up, and decorate it for every holiday...Valentine's, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July...and many, many more!

You're going to have to set up an motion detector video camera, Michelle ;-) Those would be some great videos :lol: Hope you managed to get everything you needed to get done! Have a nice evening :-D
 
Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I blinked and mine was gone. :lol: and I'm not too sure what I did with it. :lol: :lol: It's Ok though, nice and quiet and peaceful before the wonderful bedlam that Christmas will bring. :-D :cool: I wrapped what gifts I have, decided that it would be better just to buy a birthday cake for Nicholas's birthday, so went and got that. I have enough to do tomorrow without throwing baking into the mix so... off I went. I get the thing home, a glorious chocolate cake with chocolaty frosting, with these really nice poinsetias for decoration, set it on the counter and went to take care of some online stuff. About 15 minutes later I hear this ruckus in the kitchen. There is Lola sitting on top of the cake box trying to open it. O.M.G.! Chew chew chew.... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol: Thank gawd that the box held. :roll: :roll: :roll: I had also bought some cimmamum rolls, cuz well... they looked so good! So 20 minutes after the cake episode she's in there batting the rolls around. :-x :lol: Guess she likes cake, and cimmamum rolls. HAHA. LOLA, we all luv ya but seriously? NIchoals's cake????? We had such an odd assortment of weather today. Windy this morning, foggy and drizzly. About 1 or so this monsoon blows through, followed about 30 minutes later with the bluest of skies. I headed on out at that point, hiked the upper trails here, wound the afternoon up with the sunset off of Picnic Point. That was really pretty. Very windy down there but pretty. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carl - many thanks! I so agree on Fog. I love it, love to go out and take photos in it. t is just as you say: changes everything. it can be that way here too: the drop down to the beach is out 500 feet, so what i see at home often is very different once I get there. I really enjoyed the fog to attached via link. The fog was cool, loved the shadows too - very nice! I know on Lola - what will she do when there is no longer a tree in this house. :shock: What will she substitute?? :shock: :shock: ----- and HAHA on the Holiday Inn of Christmas trees. Now Lola would love that. :lol: :lol: :lol: Too funny on the real eggs. :shock:

Hi Jane - THX on the pics. I love fog, just for the reason you said. it all looks so different! I wonder on Bug - he's been nearby now a couple of times. maybe he wants to see what all the fuss is about. I so hope he doesn't start climbing too. :roll: I really should tie it "up" as you did with your old one. I've been really lucky so far!

Hi Ann - I know... I was so disappointed that I hadn't grabbed the camera. This Christmas it's been in my pocket "just in case." Why it wasn't then I have no idea. It would have been the best video! Cool on the fog! and yes - I often think of you when I see fog like we get sometimes.: so thick you can't see the end of your driveway. Walks in it are really great. Well... got he rapping done, but no moutnians. Just to rainy dor most of the way there.... so I settled for local and a great sunset after that.

Hi Amy - wasn't that great? I loved that card - way too cute. I know.... what will we do? no more Christmas -capades! and well me too! I will be in HAHA withdrawal. oh too funny on leaving the tree up and decorating according to the holiday. well now, food for thought! omg.... can you imagine it all! :lol: :lol:

Hi Rachel - OOOOOOOOOO! YES! A motion detector camera. one of those kitty-cams too. That would be too fun, wouldn't it? THX on today- I actually did get things done. Wrapped gifts was the main one, all done! YAY!
 
I'm glad everyone enjoying the Christmas e-card Michelle! I hope I picked a good "lookalike" for Lola...it was kind of hard seeing her true coloring from inside your Christmas tree :lol:

Beautiful pictures! I wish I could take pictures like you can, but I don't have "the eye" for it.

I love Amy's suggestion too...Just leave the tree and swap out the decorations!!

And yes, it does look like her! she has a bit more white, but it is very close. :cool: LOL on being able to tell from inside my tree. sheshhh - she camped out in it yesterday. :roll: THX on the pics. I really enjoy taking them, it's just fun for me. sometimes I get lucky and get a few good ones. Me too on Amy's suggestion. :lol: :lol: :lol: Wouldn't that be a hoot.
