Whoops I did it again. Thought I did the shot ok (I always second guess how hard to push the plunger in to get the drop out without hurting herm) but when I checked the syringe there was still a full drop in it…so I let the syringe pull the drop back in by releasing the plunger and tried to shoot again (to be clear…did not add more insulin) but got same result partially due to a fed up squirmy hermi.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement …what a ride!

I have to be honest and say I’m a little nervous going into the holidays about potential raised bg’s due to stress.

Beyond the huge storm going on now (Herman hasn’t been outside once today which is never a good thing and hasn’t pooped so I’m giving him a little extra MiraLAX with water) but on top of all that we are hosting christmas events with friends and family four days in a row!….my head is spinning just thinking about it ….my house is an absolute trip today trying to get organized and decorated for everything over the coming days and I can already see Herman withdrawing… a little bit anxious and a touch stressed I would say…. the house is literally turned upside down. I am specially worried for Christmas Eve there as there will be at least a couple extra dogs handing around including a puppy.

I’ll cut him some BG slack over the next couple days and hope it doesn’t prevent from us from (hopefully)nattempting an otj trial in the new year….anti jinx x 1000.
 
Beautiful cycles today, four days in a row, my head would be spinning too!
I hope Herman doesn't get too stressed out. Keeping my fingers crossed he will be ok and you will start the OTJ Trial. I'd cut him some slack also. He will do it :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat: Merry Christmas ♥
