Good Morning LL! Looks like we have cleared the bounce, I'm hoping for a repeat of Monday anti-jinx! The rain is back, but we did have one dry day yesterday. I've got to take my mom to an early dr appt, so sorry if I miss your condo.

WCR All 5 Ps today (I'm counting last night's big Poo) Happy hungry kitty this morning actually played wit toys this morning!

How are you guys holding up with all the rains? they had a lengthy news report last night on SoCal - so much flooding, and damage. Wow - hope you guys are doing OK. Many problems where you are?

No attention is to be diverted from the kitty! Fed the 47 w/ 12% Wellness pouch and the 54 w/ 8% Duck & Wild Rice.

Michelle, we're fine , damp but fine. The ants are flooded though and trying to get back in! cat(2)_steam Some of the low lying areas here have flooded, but nothing major. In CA they don't believe in drainage ditches on the sides of the roads, 'cause,, well you know, it only rains 4 months of the year, they would be wated for the other 8! It would be interesting to go look at the river again.

Glad all is well with you guys - and a given on the ditches. Things like that never cease to amaze me. It happens here too. We get a lot of reaction, little pro-action. Yes- you should check that river again - wow. They talked about rivers last night on the news, but now I can't remember which one... People were wading - up to their waists, something too about a horse rescue. well - be safe. and good luck with the ants.

Pretty even at +4.5~52, fed a little more 8%. Will test again at +5.5 because she took her own sweet time eating. It is also past her usual nadir so she should be slowing down.

Michelle, yes our county is one or the "disaster areas" but we are on a mesa. Guadalupe and Oceano have had flooding and evacuations and I know there was a mention of horse rescues in the area, but don't know the details. Several creeks flooded as well as the Santa Maria river down below the dikes in Guadalupe. Not really surprising because G and SM towns are built on the floodplain.

Ann...how funny....I ordered a trial pack of TCFeline and got a "got your order" response so I sent that person an email today. I just received a response from Jim who is at Know Bones; he said Natascha is still the owner of the new company. Here is what he said:

The TCFeline will stilll be available in the states and Know Bones will still be manufacturing it however it will only be sold in the U.S. from stores and websites based here. Stay tuned for more information on this on the RawMeat Cat Food sight in January. The new diet formula from Natascha and RawMeat Cat Food has no carbohydrates added to it. The percentage of whey powder concentrate is the same and is now hormone free (no rBGH). The psyllium was removed quite some time ago and the other ingredients (egg, taurine, kelp, Vit B, etc) are in the same or similar proportions. The other change is from a milk mineral concentrate to MCHA or purified bone meal extract from New Zealand. This is from free range grass fed cows with no added hormones or prophylactic antibiotics. I hope this answers the questions that you had as we feel that the new formula is actually better than before and moving toward becoming a "cruelty free" product.

You are not going crazy. I also saw the nutritional values on the new website at one time just a couple months ago at the most. I cannot find them anywhere either. I thought that I PMd them to you; I did check my private email "sent" messages in case I sent it to you that way but I didn't. I specifically remember you saying that the values for fat and protein had changed (decreased) so that would lead one to believe that carbs had increased but according to Jim, there are no "added carbs". I'm certain it still must have some carbs from somewhere; I wonder if the omission of the psyllium changed the values but he said it was removed "some time ago". I also emailed Nastascha again...he said he asked her about it and she didn't see my previous emails as they are in a state of "flux" and reworking the website, etc. Hopefully, she will respond. Because of Gracie's sudden itching, I really want to try and get her on a raw diet; she never ate beef before I started giving her Surf/Turf and Cowboy Cookout and so I have to suspect those two esp since I was feeding them almost exclusively lately and she has gotten worse. Sigh. The good thing is, I know Tobey will eat the raw the minute I put it on his plate...he's always trying to grab raw chicken from me :lol: Hopefully he will eat it with the mix in it, too. Any other tips I should know? I do need to put thighs in the raw food because Tobey needs the phosphorus and the fat since he is still a kitten.

eta: Jim is Jim Dagata...the owner of KnowBones; the website is www.rawmeatcatfood.com but I looked through it again....no nutrition analysis info.

Nice to know I'm not totally imagining things! :lol: I don't believe they put all that work into their site and forgot to put in their own product! I would think that would be the first thing thy took care of. ohmygod_smile

Since ME figures are percentages, if one goes down the others have to go up even if there is nothing with carbs added.

I mentioned that to him....no comment. I think he thinks Natascha will answer because it is her product. Will let you know if she does. BUT..he said things stayed the same; I just thought I remembered seeing different numbers.

Just realized i didn't post the PMPS, oh well, nothing pretty to see there.

We are trying to get the tree finished. Yes, I know everyone else had theirs up weeks ago. :YMSIGH: Things came to a screaching stop when 2 strings of lights were nonfunctioning, plus I think this is the fullest tree I've ever had. :-D Pix tomorrow.

Mannie and Tess - I hear they are hosting a small gathering on the pink floor. :shock:

Xmas lights - you gotta hate 'em... my personal fav: you get them all tested: functional, you get them on the tree: hours of work to get them just so, you test them again: still functional, you put on the ornaments: looks good, you have one hour of a gorgeous tree: YAY!. then ***poof!*** the lights won't work. cat(2)_steam and you start all over again.... happens to me every year. cat(2)_steam stupid lights...

can't wait to see the finished product. Mannie read that and now he's glued to the 'puter screen, waiting... :lol:

Have a good night - I think we are done - with a 300 at +4, I think I an gave him a break from all those pokeys.

oh - glad you have been spared the floods, etc. i feel for those that are not. We have similar problems here. Some people have lost their homes - washed away by rivers swollen over their banks.
