Good Morning/almost Afternoon, Everyone,
Rusty and I have been decorating the Xmas tree. That is to say, Rusty is chillaxin' in his favorite chair supervising the work. But he did come right up to the tree to see what I was doing!! Progress!!! We've spent the morning with the tree, listening to the Bach Cantata-request hours on the Columbia University radio station (WKCR) via the internet. Every year they devote an entire week to Bach, 24 hours a day. The student announcers don't pronounce the titles of the cantatas or the names of the performers very well, but they try!
Rusty had a good night and a good routine this morning. I wish I could say the same for the weather. Freezing rain with a coating of ice on everything. I had to chip the sunflower seeds out of the birdfeeders this morning! The trees are bowed over. Fortunately we don't have to travel until Tuesday, when it is expected to be very cold, but no storms.
Wishing all a good day. Sending mega healing vines to Champ and to all kitties and beans not feeling well. Continuing to remember all of our wonderful kitties who have traveled to the Bridge in the last few weeks, and sending our sympathy to their beans.
