Having another warm spell here and when the heat kicked on at its usual time it was way too much. I suppose there are worse ways to be woken up than being too hot in December.
Pimp continues to ask for a dosecrease with the 270 at +10 this morning. I think we'll try .4u for a bit.

Can't wait for some cooler temps. My yard looks like a big mud puddle and with four big dogs, keeping the house clean is a losing battle.

And, Pimp, let's try and work the dosecrease!
 
Had a quick trip to the vet for a blood draw and checkup this afternoon.

He's up to 8lbs,9oz -gained over a pound this month!:woot:
Getting weight back on has been the primary concern. The autofeeder should help keep this trend going. It only took 2 days and he comes running when he hears it already. Hustler is clueless:smuggrin:

Vet asks "How are his BG's"
I reply "Ranging from 50 all the way to 400 when his liver really kicks in. We're getting close though, he had a few nice days in 50-100 range recently."
Vet:"and you haven't seen him fall over and have a seziure, or have had to shake him for a minute to wake him up?" (looking confused)
Me:"Never. I monitor closely when he is under 100 and keep him strictly over 50 with high carb food"
Vet stopped talking about BG's. LOL.

Blood draw was to check potassium levels (he is on K+ supplement) and will have results tomorrow. I'll try to get them to email the CBC and post it up.

Teeheehee another vet that thinks they're going to have a symptomatic hypo in normal numbers - by the time you're done with him he will know better ;)

Vines for good b/w results! The YAZC is great for putting weight back on. Now that Doodles only gets a few kibble for a "treat" I'm keeping very close eye on his weight so that he maintains. New addition - baby & food scale!
 
Pimp, what is it with the pink underwear? Paws crossed he works the new dose soon.

Great news on the weight. Did you remind the vet you are now using a human meter?

@Doodles & Sour Pea I've been watching the ads for a used baby scale. Asked Santa Claws for one too. It would be great to be able to track his weight week to week without having to load him up and go to the vet.

He left it on me from day one. He told me to keep increasing by 1/2 to 1 unit until I got 100's. That's when I found you all:)

Love it - great job!! It's nice when you have a vet who will leave it all up to you. My vet was the same way...sadly, she moved away :(. Sending good BW vines while you wait!!
