FS Libre/AMPS 312/+4 298/+8 270/PMPS 323
The FS Libre experience has been a bit disappointing, so far. I think my sensor is faulty, as no one I have had contact with has such a discrepancy in the numbers. I know it's not about the numbers...it's the arrows and the pattern but no way in hell I would depend on this sensor to make any shooting decisions. Hopefully, the next one (as of Tuesday) will read closer. I try to compare numbers on the Libre from 15 minutes later, as I understand that's how long it takes the Libre number to catch up with BG. At least the graph on the Libre shows where there are peaks and valleys, and I can pretty well guess when her blood glucose dips. Maybe if we ever get close to target numbers, I will have to worry about shooting. Now, not so much. It looks like it's going to be another dosage increase on Monday. It's frigid in the DFW area right now, getting down to 10 degrees tonight. Millie's room is on the northeast corner of the house and it's cold in here. She has a cat heating pad and a cozy hut. I hope she can stay warm. For those who are in the parts of the US in the path of the polar storm, stay safe and stay warm. It's ugly out there. Even for someone who grew up in Minnesota, it's ugly out there.
