So far so good :-D Frip was all good and purry this morning. Afternoon nap in progress...

Felt strange not to take his BG before going to bed last night ;-) I kept thinking... you didn't give him insulin, it's ok.... :smile:

What is considered a small meal? 1/4 can LC FF ok?

I could give him 1/4 can at a time instead of the 1/2 can I normally give him. I gave Frip 1/4 can LC FF at 9:00, 9:30, and 10:00 this morning. It worked ok..

I will still give him 1/2 can before going to bed... he doesn't eat it all anyway, he keeps some for early in the morning when I'm still sleeping - good baby cat_pet_icon or I think he learned much younger that it was a challenge to wake moma bean too early to get breakfast (big sleepers here). ;-)

Well our first day without insulin is done dancing_cat

My mom is here for the holidays...I was out doing last minute shopping... I fed Frip before we left and when we came back 1/4 can LC FF. He ate 45 minutes before PMBG so I think we are doing good.. :mrgreen:

I'll get another BG before bed time.

I'll be on vacation tomorrow.. flip_cat

Good luck on the trial Frip!! Great numbers so far!!

I'm no expert on food either, but I give Lightning 1/4 can FF for each of his meals as well. I swear I spoil this cat with 12 mini meals a day...some day I'll have to figure out if giving 1/2 can a time works too.
