Not to bad for Mr. Spot this morning! Mr. Spot woke me up around 1:00 am for an escort to the feeder...he must have checked it earlier and saw that it was empty and wanted his snack. Ms. Ali-bell was sitting on the corner of the counter...she was the culprit!
Not much else to report. All is normal and dandy in Spot's world. He gets to nap all day until I get home from work!

Ralph jumped up on the bed for his snack last night. He gave me an 88 at dinnertime last night. He's splitting up his time between pacing and sleeping. He seems to be a little unsteady on his feet. He was walking on the counter last night, going from one side to the other, the sink is inbetween. He has done this hundreds of times before. He lost his footing and fell on the floor. He also decided to walk on the other side of the counter where all my candy making stuff was at. He ended up putting his paw in one of the sprinkle containers and that ended up all over the place. He also was walking and put one of his paws in his food dish. Depth perception bad? Poor thing.

Good morning guys! Nice green for spot this morning .... hoping he has a nice day of surfing ahead of him .. sorry to hear about ralph .. it is hard to watch them fall when they are normally so graceful ... I know you are doing a great job taking care of your household ... have a great day guys!

(((Ralph))) That sounds a bit worrisome. I wonder if his vision is impaired. Do his eyes look normal? Did the vet check his blood pressure?

eta: Oops, Choy Foong just posted the same thing.

Hi Deb.
That's a nice AMPS for Spot. And I'm glad Ralph's BG wasn't too high last night. I agree with Linda and Choy Foong, maybe you should have his vision checked.
I hope your tbp day goes by quick, and you all have a good evening.

Hi Deb, I hope that Ralphie will be OK. Impaired vision could indeed be causing his problems (my DH is legally blind and always has to be careful not to run into things, or step on Rusty!)
Good number for Spot. He must have enjoyed the Solstice Party.
Hugs,
Ella & Rusty

If there is any suspicion of a retinal detachment due to hypertension, it is urgent to get the cat in immediately to begin treatment. With early treatment, there is a chance of vision being restored. His renal values were not that bad, so this may not be the issue at all, but it is something to be aware of. See also mention of seizures in this link:

Thanks for that link, Linda. I'll print that out and take it to the vet on Monday. The vet did check his eyes and said she didn't feel as if that was the problem, but that is something to think about. Did not check his blood pressure, tho. He had a pretty good day today. Ate well, walked around, hung out behind my chair. He doesn't seem to be bothered by anything today.

Recap for Spot:
amps ~ 92
+9 ~ 135
pmps ~ 128
+4 ~ 85

I think Ali is getting to Spot's snacks during the day, the little bugger! Spot had a good day today too. Enjoyed his dinner and had a nice "belly full nap". He is now waiting for his nini snack, which I am happy to oblige as soon as I get off the computer.
Have a wonderful evening everyone! And thanks again for your concern!
