12/21 Shooter AMPS 286, PMPS 282, +4 54

What is his feeding schedule like?
It's kind of a mess. 6:30am test, shoot, feed, 12:30 test & feed, 3:30 test & feed, 6:30pm test, shoot, feed and 9:30pm test & feed. He probably eats too often but I have a pancreatic kitty who has lost significant weight who only eats small meals at a time so I try to feed him as often as possible. Of course Shooter pitches a fit and has to have food too....

I would say he needs a snack between PS and +6. That will help prevent those dives and the subsequent bounces. Even If you aren't home to test between PS and +6, a snack around +3 would be good.

You mean in the am? Ok, so he is a 17.5 cat that should probably be 14 lbs. If he's getting FF pate only, how much should he get at 6:30, 9:30, 12:30, 3:30, 6:30 & 9:30? Right now he's getting about 2/3 to 3/4 of a can each time.

I mean in both cycles. I'm not saying you need to feed more. Just that he needs food more often and more in the earlier part of the cycle to smoothen the curve. Even as little as 1/4 can every 2 hours would be good.

Unfortunately mornings are tough because I work from 8 - 12. I have a double auto feeder so I could put a little food in both containers. I feel bad knowing Shooter will gobble up all the food and the other 2 probably won't get any, but I guess he's the one that needs that meal more than anyone else at this point.

The other two don't get food in that window right now, right? They get fed before you leave for work and once you're back?

It's Shooter that needs multiple meals so it's fine :-)
