Happy Friday LL!
Shasta and I are safely to my parent's house in Pensacola. What should have been an 8 hour drive took us 10 due to the frequent stops to check her BG and to try to get her to use the LB. Oh, and I did have a 45 minute stop in Tallahassee to pick up presents from my aunt. She was pretty good the entire way...just a little cranky about being in her carrier for that long drive. I let her jump down to the LB (on the car floor) when we would stop. She used it twice!
Now, she is confined to one room in my family's house...so no fun here, but I did bring a few of her toys so we can play periodically. My dad's memory is starting to go, so this is going to be a rough Christmas. He's becoming quite belligerent in his old age. :YMSIGH: This is really hard to watch, but at least I have my mom and sister for comic relief. Well, speaking of which, I'm going to head out to the living room and visit before dinner gets here. BTW, I'm starving! YAY for pizza!
