Unless I hear differently from anyone I think I will increase to 1.25 this eve. I chose not to this morning because I just can't get an accurate dose with my syringes. They only have 1. marks. Does anyone know of any local type pharmacies who will let me buy a small amount of syringes rather than a huge box? Would prefer to use Monoject (will use other in a pinch) but would like to look around for best deal before I buy a bunch. Just want a few to get me started. Thx.

Called Safeway & they will sell me a bag or two of syringes with 1/2 marks so I don't have to buy a whole box right now.

Sorry I'm not help with the dosing advice, but this will bump you up. It will help get attention if you click on the question mark icon and post "dose help" in your subject line.

We use the monojet syringes after trying several other brands. We order from American Diabetes Wholesale (ADW) online.

CVS sold me 10 packs of BD syringes. I prefer the Monojects too especially since the BD don't have the half unit markings. But will do until an order comes in.

I order my syringes from Hocks. Be aware that some places require you to have a prescription to order syringes.

Walmart's ReLion brand comes in half units. You might try calling a hospital outpatient pharmacy and see if you can get syringes there. I don't know if any of the chain pharmacies routinely carry syringes with half units.

i couldn't find anyone locally that carried 1/2 unit marked syringes.

if you buy from american diabetes wholesale, go sign up with mrrebates.com first. then you click on ADW through the mrrebates site and will get a 4% rebate on all of your purchases. makes it hurt a little less!
