Greetings Lantus Land, Happy winter solstice! Its been a while since my last Jasper condo, today we celebrate his 4 months OTJ on
WCR: Jasper is 5 Ps and he continues to enjoy life at the Falls with steady mid-greens. His weight has stayed steady at 15 lbs and he loves to creep under the covers and snuggle against our legs, or lay across the pillow and purr very loudly when he is ready for me to get up. cat_pet_icon
Of course there is always something to worry about. We give Jasper coconut oil which seems to help some with hairballs, yet he still vomits fairly often. Unfortunately he now has an appetite for soft plastic - bubble wrap, baggies, magazine wrappers, trash bags, candy wrappers, even packing tape. Yesterday he decided the wrapper on the printer paper would make a good snack ohmygod_smile . He used to just lick plastic, now he actually chews and ingests it then eventually throws it up so we are trying to keep it all out of his reach. I wish I knew why he is so drawn to plastic and how to break the spell. At least now he is less interested in chewing paper to shreds. These cats...
I test Jasper once a week now so I finally moved the candy dish of lancets off the dining table into the cat cabinet. Test kit is still on the table and reminds us how fortunate he was able to get off the juice thanks to the excellent help and support and community here. I still try to read condos, post when I can, and wish you all well. We will always be grateful.
Hope all sugar kitties surf safely, and all beans enjoy happy holidays!
