I iz a sleep bean today...looking very forward to seeing Elsa this morning
!
Nothing much to report here. Trix is snuggly and appy is happy. We're still on a good roll with the gelcap. Numbers are sticking around in the same neighborhood...bean isn't loving it, but is trying to go with the flow and not super-stress out since she IS bringing herself down at least a bit.
DH is now on vacation until next year. Yep, I'm a wee bit jealous! Since he's home, Trix will be able to have a daily +9 snicky snack for the next couple weeks. That is something I like! (My vacation starts on Christmas Eve, which seems forever away right now!).
Thank you for the well-wishes for my Mom's eye appointment. She has macular degeneration in one of her eyes, but it was caught way earlier than most people catch it - it actually barely interferes with her vision. She's been getting injections for a while, and those injections have kept it stable. She can still see well enough to drive, but she wears a patch for 24-ish hours after the injection so driving until she can take the patch off isn't a good idea.
My Dad was still feeling pretty good yesterday. Usually the chemo crash starts the weekend after the pump disconnect (which was Thursday), so he'll probably start feeling it today, if he isn't already feeling it. Hopefully it won't be bad, but at this point we do know what to expect from it - we've sort of gotten used to that aspect of this whole thing. At least he should be in the clear by Christmas!
Time for work...the last shopping weekend before Christmas! It can go either way with our little store....we'll see. Have a great day, LL!
