Snickers gave us a surprise 51 this morning! I gave her a tsp of LC wet and rechecked 15 minutes later, and then 15 after that. I pulled a 54 and then a 56.
I'm actually excited by the 50s. I think 51 is the lowest Snickers has been since she fell out of remission, and she used to get more 50s while she was in remission. So I take this is a good sign that the insulin is working its healing magic.
But it does make me wonder if she might've dropped even lower at the +2 or +2.5 mark. Traditionally, I've felt like her nadir comes before +6, around +3 or +4. But the last couple days I've noticed it coming around +2. I wish I'd checked her earlier today. Oh well. Can't change that. I'll just be more mindful of that in the future.
