12-19 (Yesterday) Good morning. I hope everyone has a beautiful day!

I'm happy to report, the pumpkin has gotten the boys moving in the right direction again! Now the question is should it be added to their food daily(to keep them regular) or as needed for constipation?? I've read that pumpkin can lose it's effect, once kitties become use to it. I def. don't want that to happen. Thoughts??? Does anyone use it daily?? Any negative repercussions? TIA:)

Seems like that is the case with many laxative or fiber supplements...if you read up on most of those kinds of products they say 'not intended for long term use'...it's because the bowel builds up a tolerance to any kind of additional 'help' to put it gently. You may want to use any kind of fiber/laxative supplement just long enough to get things mooooving...and then stop...wait until there's a problem again. I'm sure you're already getting them to drink extra water...that's always helpful. Water + fiber = better BM's...

Works the same in animal and hooman species...

And after that graphic conversation - have a great day Briere!

Glad the pumpkin helped. I don't think I'd use it all the time. I've never heard anything about it one way or the other, but I'd save it for when you need it.
