You can stall w/o feeding and test in 20 mins and see where she's at. When did she last eat?

She was fasted for 3 hours before shot... then i fed at shot time and at +1 and now at+2. Im trying to feed small meals often.

47 and doing well. I gave some HC food and i will test lots.... And continue to test even after numbers start to rise.

I think i have to wait until she goes below 50 3 times ???... She is a long term dibetic. Just only on Lantus and testing regulary for a short time. She was on Caninsulin for years before.
But its so early in her cycle do i assume she would have gone below 40 without HC??? So then she should reduce??? Ive read the notes so many times but i know its not always simple.

You reduce or increase based on numbers you actually get when you test. If she falls below 40 later in the cycle, you reduce.

Okay....I dont think ive seen that sticky before. I read it a few times. So she does not earn a reduction right???

Nope. 2 more drops between 40 & 50 on different days or one drop below 40 to earn a reduction.
