12/20 Milo's Curve, Need dosing advice; AMPS due in 11 hrs.

Hello again,
Another curve was done today,and i'm pretty sure that we need another increase
to 2.25 Units (?)
*Previous curve was done on 12/10 and i was advised to increase from 1.75 Units to 2 units.*
We are nearing the end of the 2;nd Vial of Lantus that was prescribed by The Vet on January 29 /2021.
(I filled both *10 ML* vials at the same time) ~ And kept them in the back of the fridge.Wondering if perhaps the' potency' of the Lantus is wearing off?
I have filled a new prescription for Lantus ( one 10 ML Vial) that will arrive tomorrow for pickup.
Should i continue dosing with the new prescription or finish the old one.?(very little insulin left)
I thought i read somewhere on the threads to be' extra vigilant ' eg. checking BG starting a new bottle as it may be "more potent"... Any advice is welcome,Thank You!

Yes. It’s time for an increase. I would finish the vial unless it’s past the expiration date or you have been using the same vial over 6 months. I never had a big reaction to a new one but it is possible.

Thanks for your reply,i think the latest vial may be older than 6 months... but i will increase
his dose to 2.25 Units at AMPS. And evaluate if i need to discard the rest of Insulin and /or
start the new Vial.
