Happy Sunday! Very dull out today but no snow or rain in the forecast. Cole continues to surf nicely in the lagoon

Does anyone else using Lantus from a vial get more bubbles as you get toward the end of the vial? Sometimes I can see a large bubble in the syringe and it is really hard to dislodge it - almost like it's stuck in there. Eventually I do get rid of them but I wondered if there's a trick to it!

yup! I found the end of a pen even worse but I try to exercise patience even to use what I can. I always over draw by 0.5 to 1u, get the air bubbles to the middle, then adjust my dose with calipers. I will say, I was so thrilled when I started a new pen to not have quite as many air bubbles.

Nice surfing. I hate dealing with air bubbles. It seems like I get more at the end of a pen too.

Air bubbles are such a pain. I feel like it takes me five seconds to draw up the dose and five minutes to mess around with getting all of the air bubbles out. I've never come close to the bottom of a vial, though, because it is 10mL. Huge!
