Morning everybody. Not too bad a start to the day considering she went low yesterday. I was expecting a bounce but doesn't look like i got one. I took her down to 1.5 this morning. She was a fussy little kitty this morning which really isn't that typical of her. It took she tries to get her the FF flavour that she wanted before she would eat but then she ate fine.

SO the plan for the day is to take her to the vet for her sleepover after her lunch this afternoon. I think I'm going to get them to give her 1 unit while she's there just in case. I'll talk to Doug about it and see what he thinks. She'll be there tonight and probably tomorrow night as I doubt very much that we'll be able to get home before they close tomorrow. She'll be fine I know but I always get nervous of leaving her. It's natural I guess.

I'm just hoping against hope that the people at the Marfan's Clinic will have some answers for us tomorrow. It's so frustrating waiting months and more months for a specialists appointment and then being told that there's something going on for sure with your son but I can't help you. Anyway we'll wait and see what happens.

I've got a lot to do today apart from sleeping which would be good so I better get going. Saying special prayers for our kitties who are feeling poorly and those who are having surgery. Will check in later.

Hope you get some help from the clinic for your son! Happy to see not much of a bounce out of fussy Taco-Tori :lol:

Nice AMPS Tori! Good luck with your sleep over ....you must be calling him Uncle Doug by now, right? ;-)

Well she came down pretty nicely this afternoon to a nice blue 140. I could be quite happy with that of it happened on a regular basis. She is now safe and sound at Dr (Uncle) Doug's. Pat I almost spewed my tea laughing when I read your post. I'd never thought of referring to Doug as Uncle Doug but he is so involved in her life that it really feels he is more than just her vet. He does really care about her and he does feel like family.

It seems so strange not having her here- Rocky has been wandering around looking totally lost. I tried to explain it's only for 1 or 2 nights.

So tomorrow's the big day. We have been waiting for this appointment for Daniel for so long. Hopefully they'll be able to tell us something which will help unlock the medical mystery that is my son one way or another. If you have a minute please say a prayer that things go well and that we get some answers and for some calming vines for me. I really feel quite nervous and stressed.

i too wish you luck! I hope all goes well tomorrow for your son, and that they can help him. I will be thinking of you guys.

I too hope that Tori enjoys her sleepover at uncle doug's. It is nice to have a vet that cares as much as it sounds like he does. very nice.
 
Barb...lots of prayers for your visit tomorrow that they will find some answers for Daniel. I'm sure Tori will do absolutely fine at Uncle Doug's.
 
Barb, Thinking of you and your family tonight and sending prayers, positive thoughts and calming vines for tomorrow. I hope that Daniel will have a good appointment and that all will go well with Tori's sleepover.
