day before yesterday

i don't know where yesterday went, but it went fast!

punkin started this morning in the stratosphere! i rechecked the DH's test after he'd eaten and it was 365 . . . i'd been hoping it was a bad strip, but nope. he must've gotten low in the night. anyway, he slid straight down - 159 at +4.5, 145 at +7, 139 at +8 into +9 - 128 this afternoon after his 3rd acupuncture appt. He rose high enough to shoot by 7pm. hopefully we won't get another bounce from the blues today. i dropped his dose .25 back to 7.75.

that acupuncture is working great. i don't think you can have a placebo effect with a cat who doesn't know the purpose of the treatment. he's definitely more comfortable, grooming quite a bit (although for whatever reason his fur still looks greasy) and climbing up on the sofa back and table. no doubt in my mind that he's benefiting from it. he took the needles fine and sat still for the 30 minutes without any problem today.

the house is empty tonight except me and the cats. very nice & peaceful!

Hey I've missed you!!! Wow on Punkin's numbers today and he meant business!!!! I'm so happy to see the "punkture" is working so well for him.

Great to hear the acupuncture is working!! Nice numbers. Unbelievable on how low the dose is going. Yay for less insulin! Have a nice peaceful night with the kitties!

That's great that punkin is doing so well. What a great guy. I'm glad the acupuncture is helping him feel better. Maybe as he continues grooming, his fur will get less greasy. He does have a lot of fur. :lol: :lol: Definitely better numbers tonight. I was shocked to see the stinky pinky this morning. Enjoy your peaceful evening.

and yes, school was good this week. but i'm happy to see friday and a weekend now!
