Yesterday Jetta 12/1

Happy Friday all,

YUCK on this AMPS. That's about all I can even think to say about it. Jetta had a fine night. It's cold here so I plugged in the heated throw and Jetta's been content to stay on it for most of the last 24 hours. She's got her bean well trained to bring her food dish to her on the blanket so she doesn't even have to get up. Crazy day for me today, so I'll check in later.

Sending hopes for blue and green numbers to all kitties along with well wishes to all who need them.

Re: 12/2 Jetta AMPS 357

Sorry 'bout the AMPS. Love the room service - and I can relate! My senior civvie, Mario, tends to like room service, too. The things we do for our kitties....

Have a great day!!

Amy

nailbite_smile nailbite_smile These low blue PS make me nervous.

Quick question- can anyone tell me under what number is considered "healing numbers"?

Binks- mom wouldn't post a greenie cause she sez I wasn't green long enough. picky picky picky

Re: 12/2 Jetta PMPS 139

Jetta, your mom is definitely too picky about Mr. Greenie. I think as soon you hit green in a cycle, you get to use Mr. Greenie for the rest of the cycle. Maybe hit green again tonight and look extra cute so your mom will reconsider? I think of the healing numbers as below renal threshold, about 200 on a human meter but ECID. Jac, I spent condo time putting the chains on my car this morning. I struggled with them for a while then I read the directions. Went quickly after that. Then by the time I had to leave, the roads had thawed and I took the chains off.  But now I know how to put on the chains and they are in my car. Much better than forgotten on the shelf.

Re: 12/2 Jetta PMPS 139 +1 77

Well, I would call those evening numbers "healing numbers"! I have always thought that healing numbers are in the range of 50 - 120 on the human meter. These are bg numbers considered "normal" for a non-diabetic kitty. The more time your kitty stays in the green numbers, the more healing goes on. The renal threshold is, I think, somewhere around 200-220, but ECID. It is good to stay below the renal threshold for lots of reasons!

Have a good weekend, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 12/2 Jetta PMPS 139 +1 77 +1.5 43 +2 73 +3 55 +3.75 51

Well, her last 3 tests from 1.25 hours are 53, 55, and 51. So, she's surfing I think. A bit lower than what's usually comfortable, but I think I'll give it another 30 minuts before I decide whether or not to carb her again. I don't want her to skyrocket if she doesnt' need to.

Thanks Melissa, Ella, and Liz!
