AMPS 83

Finally got our power back at 8pm last night. We got the generator going at 5pm, saved most of our food thankfully. Two power outages in two weeks is too many. Husband is installing a transfer switch next week.

Hi Alli. You really got the brunt of the storm so much worse than we did and we’re actually not that far apart geographically.
We just had a ton of rain and flooding in our area. My backyard looks like a swamp. But we never lost power so I’m thankful for that. My biggest concern would’ve been saving the insulin, the hell with the food. Lol.

Mr Green Smudge is such a gorgeous model of greens. Yay!!

@Karolina KJ I am in Connecticut. We had terrible winds around 60mph that knocked so many trees down. It was scary for a while!
