nugget is just being beautiful.. holidays are near and i hope everyone having a great holiday season

.. us just here working on things at home and doing our best.. Peanut was sick tho this morning, tried having his breakfast and didnt keep it down.. fed him little snacks and got to feeling better (things got skipped today). have been giving a bit more Amlodipine to see how he’d fare (since numbers could be better w his pressure unfortunately, thankfully for the Lantus theyre good enough..) wondering if maybe that it.. thats the only difference. vomiting sometimes happens tho.. especially w this.. but thinking it the tablets. he better tho and cat napping..
so.. scaling back. and want to try something else for his pressure. because his BP numbers are ok, but need to be better i think, and he simply cant take more. the vet we found seems exasperated and hasnt been very good w help lately….... as it goes. not sure if should keep calling, and we move on. the mobile vet i told and asked on maybe starting that something else (Telmisartan ~ @Elaine and Ember tyyy!!) is gonna look into it and get back to me.. so will see what they come back with. wary tho because they dont have much experience obviously.. the main vet ive yet to even ask. i called a cat centered clinic, see on maybe taking him there, all they usually use is Amlodipine. never had a thirsty cat frm it. Made an internist appt.. more Money and not even sure they can help.. but i made it. does anyone have experience on a few ways of treating BP?…. does anyone know ANYTHING?
all of this has just been hard to manage, on top of things already, because good veterinary help is hard to find.. and they write the scripts too, right. im having to more or less figure it out myself. ex. current vet, because his blood looked good, thus wasn’t too worried on why hes thirsty…… while we’re sitting here him drinking a lot and sometimes dont even want food first cause he needs to drink… and he prefers if i pour it frm a bottle for him…….. which i do. not easy multiple times day/night. (this habit started cuz id give him water wherever he was to take his tablets..) im worried about dehydration too now and dry mouth..
just

……..
everything also has side effects. and seeing if thats even it.. dont know otherwise. im hoping the Telmisartan, if we can get there, just helps and dont hurt him.. alas.
