Woo HOO! it is Thursday. I hope everyone had a good one yesterday. Ours was alot of fun! it was a Swimming day for Nicholas. The other grandparents watched William while Nicholas and I swam.Thank you Pat! We continue to be cold here (well cold for us) 35 when dawn came around, but we did make 40: HEAT WAVE! We had some sunny skies by mid-afternoon, which was awfully nice. The winds were up, so it was darn cold. We never did make the park yesterday after swimming, what with Nicholas taking such a long nap. Swimming is hard work! Probably just as well, as it really would have been cold. William is doing really well, on solids now, and a very happy little man. Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well today, off to the pool, for more water fun. Nicholas was a little on the tired side today, so our time there was a little on the subdued side, but still very nice. Despite the fatigue the energizer fish managed still insisted he go swim, to make a go of it. the last hour was great, but confined to the one area. We spent that hour under the water, counting the number of times he could go down on his own, and touch the bottom. wow on it all. it was nice he ended up having alot of fun. Funny, we get home and he napped for 3.5 hours... had to wake him up to go an meet his dad. Back at it FR night unless those snows show up." It was a great day for all of us, even my Christmas kitty Lola.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. I so wish it would stay that way.... ;-) Lola made about twelve trips up the tree yesterday. I can be certain of that, well, some of them, as this week, like last week, Nicholas told me every time she went up the middle: "GRAMMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lola is in the tree. It is shaky!" again...       Now she has added a few new soft ornaments to her fav list. AND (!!) we are chewing on some of the presents. I LOVE how the paper is torn on the corners of a few of them.  I found Bug exploring under the tree this morning too. He isn't climbing, but is checking out the bottom, and sleeping there on occasion. He still refers Mannie's bed. Elsa is being Elsa: ignoring the antics of the youngin's and focusing on the nanner stash, which she has started to play with daily. She seems to be doing really well, not bad at all for a 17 yr old senior. Elsa, you so totally rock. Yupp! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Lola.... hard at work being our christmas Kitty...

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river today, but..... The weather isn't all that nice: rains, and cols, and possible snow by early evening. We shall see on this one. If it rains lots - indoors for sure... I will try and get to condos when I can. I am sorry I missed so many of you yesterday. it is so tough to find any time on days when I have the boys... I do hope all is well with all of you. and then there is that sock....

and speaking of William....
Raspberries RULE!

Good morning Michelle,

Cute little William looks so much like his brother Nicholas already. Adorable. Twelve trips up the tree.   . I think she thinks you put THAT tree up just for her personal entertainment. So funny.

Terri

Thanks for the DELISH mocha this morning Elsa! What a treat with the blueberries...YUM :-D

Good morning Michelle! ~O)
I love how you call 40 a heat wave  But I GET it! Yet again I will have to open the links from home as the work computer won't allow it
Wow to Nicholas on his underwater antics! He sure is progressing FAST! Hope he's not getting a wee cold, what with being a little on the tired side. Love that spirit though, it didn't slow him down

Enjoy your day today with the boys!

Morning Terri ~O) ~O) ~O) THX for the visit. oh yes - William is looking, and acting, very much like his brother. He is such happy baby. I know on Lola... 12 trips. Who knows how many last night. I just found another soft ornament on the kitchen floor. She has been busy! I tink so too: her tree, her party, HERS!

Morning Kim ~O) ~O) ~O) I know on that 40. It sure did feel like it the time. It is n normal temp for us in winter, but of late we have been much colder so that 40 is a welcome relief. I so agree on Nicholas: always on the go, and so much spirit. He just loves the water. To be under water id the coolest thing to him. me too on the no cold. Paws crossed!
Auntie Kim! Mega cool! I thinks so too, them blueberries makes it purrfect. I can bring you another.... ,'K? ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Good Morning Michelle,
William is so sweet ♥
I was thinking that you should just leave the tree up all year for Lola, maybe she would leave the rest of your plants alone
Curiosity is getting the best of Bug ;-) and Elsa is still the Queen cat_pet_icon
Have a great day today whatever you do :-D

I can't watch the videos at work, they are blocked, I will try later ;-) 12 trips up the tree? Talk about exercise! Guess you need to put a giant wire fence around the tree and presents  Hope you're having a nice day Michelle :-D

Does Lola sing this to herself as she runs up the tree?

I love William's raspberries! He is just too adorable, just like his big brother! Were you able to finish his stocking?

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We have been busy.... heck, we are always busy!   They still say we will get nailed with some snowfall, depends upon who you read or listen too. at least they have gone from a storm watch to a weather advisory. oh well, we shall see.It never really got much above 35 today, sunny in some parts, but just cold. So... elected indoors for some/most of the day. it just gets tough to keep William warm when it is that cold. Nick just goes with the flow. We did KidsQuest Children's Museum in factoria square, and then off to meet their mom for lunch. We got home about 2:15 or so, and Nicholas is chomping at the bit: "Where are we going next? can we go please? out to the beach maybe, can we go to the river? yes, a river, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee?"    To him 45 minutes was plenty of time, and lets GO! It was hard to tell him there just wasn't enough time for that, and still meet his dad on time. His response was "that's a bummer. we go tomorrow then" and guess so. The kidsplace is an ok one, a hands on learning place, not too many there today. They have the best two story treehouse, which Nicholas loves. The Waterworks is great too, - lots in interactive stuff there. I was able to let William touch the water. That was fun - he loved it, keep reaching to touch it more. Just like big bro. It was shame that it was just too cold, 25/29/32 at the rivers today - I hated to waste some of that sun shine. well anyways - the boys had a good time, loved taking mom out to lunch. it was a fun time. He wanted Mac'n'cheese today. that's a new one, and he ate it all too. cool! I will post the Picassa ink in tomorrow's condo.

Janoe - LOVE THAT!!! and I am sure she does.   Kinda has that look on her face too!  me too on those raspberries - he's very good at it! and I am almost done with the sock - the main part is done, one side has the design on it, and now to put something small, maybe a christmas tree or two on the other I hope to finish that off tonight. Paws crossed!

Hi Rachel - yupp, 12, that I now of.... there may have been more. I am ever so grateful that it has not fallen over! lol on that fence - I probably should! hmmmm... she'd probably scale it.

Hi Carla - I know!!! She is getting used to having a tree in the house. what will she do when it i gone.       THX on the video. he's such a sweetie. :-D

Auntie Kim - you gots it! ~~ ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Pam - THX, I think he is too! Such a happy baby, rarely ever cries. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Good idea! Maybe if In did leave it up all year the plants would survive, and we'd still have a pretty tree to look at. Though I wonder after a year with her how pretty it would be. I think so too on Bug: curious.... a big yes on Elsa. I couldn't find Bug for a bit this afternoon - he was asleep under the tree. COOL!

Evening Michelle - sounds like the snow promised for here is also coming your way. Paws crossed it clears by noon like it's supposed to so you can get out to that river with the boys tomorrow. Cute video of Lola, and my first thought, like Carla's, was the disappointment on Lola's face when the tree comes down. There's gonna have to be some tall cat tree or other thing she can climb in it's place. William is looking so much more mature now.

Hi Michelle,
Those are neat videos. I love it when Lola gets the ornament stuck in her claws! She finally got free. Good girl!!

William is destined to be a brass player--maybe the tuba?

Nicholas is swimming better and better. Is he going to take lessons in January?

Have a fine evening. Sorry to be late again. We're busy, too!!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Michelle,

Love the video of Lola in the tree. I guess your ornaments are all unbreakable, eh? You must have it secured pretty well, as it didn't seem to be rocking when she moved around. What fun for her! I'm sure she thinks it's very nice of her beans to give her something new and exciting to climb and explore! Thanks for sharing.

William is just getting so big...I can't wait till he starts hitting the pool, too! Ah, the kitties....I love how each has established his or her place in the household. Just love 'em.

Have a great night, Michelle!

HI everyone! AND THE CHRISTMAS SOCK IS DONE!!! dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat All is Have to do is sew the back seam together. PHEW~ made it!

Hi Wendy - Yes, so they tell us! Snow is coming... should hit us by early morning, just in time for the commuters. aiyee..... I too hope it will clear when they day so we can all get out. It will be a crazy morning.... I so know on Lola and that tree: she will be so disappointed when it is not there. tree on the tall cat tree - I will need to look for something so she can climb. THX on William, I think so too.

Hi Ella - no worries. WOW on the busy, huh. I laughed so hard when she got that ornament stuck on her claw, and kept thinking, nice and easy anything else will knock the tree over.  LOL on William - hey maybe huh! Yes on Nicholas. We are going to start looking into what the pool he swims at requires to get him started. January for sure. THX on tonight - it was good: the sock is DONE. :-D

Hi Tricia - THX for the visit. And yes, most of the ornaments we have are non-breakable, alot are soft ones too. SO far, no breakages, just scattered. we are very lucky it has not fallen over, ad the stand is in bad shape, broken in one spot, and I have it weighted down. Thank goodness she is not a heavy cat. :? and yes - she so loves that tree! :-D

Hi Amy - that he is! It will be fun when he can go too. I need to start thinking on how I can do that. A challenge for sure. Me too on te kitties - they all fit in together, we never have any fights, they all have their spot. Kinda cool!
