OK. You want to set the autofeeder to close by +9 or +9.5 so he can't eat the food later than that.

It doesn’t look like a feeder that closes automatically. My nephew should be back by 9.5 to put the food away though.

Is it the kind that rotates and has multiple slots? Can you time it to rotate to an empty slot at +9.5?

I'll have to look at it more. I didn't read the manual...haha. Just set it up yesterday.
