Good morning!
AMPS 135 shooting 2.5u

Boomer left about half of his +6 and about a third of his +9 fuds last night. As I'm writing this (prior to t/f/s) he is having his "chicken soup" i.e. the water left over when I poach the chicken breast that he gets as treats. I keep the water in a bottle in the fridge but he likes the "soup" warmed of course:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: and it's the only way he will drink any water:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yesterday I did get to head out in the morning; a friend wanted me to show her where the Horned Owls are in the cemetery. We managed to locate both of them! Then we went on to the park where the Eastern Screech Owl is hanging out...he was missing in action. I scoured the trees hoping to find him out of the nest but couldn't find him.

Today I have an errand to run this morning then will be home with Boomer while DH has lunch with a friend. This afternoon I'm meeting a new friend who also has had trouble locating the Great Horned Owls. Hoping for better shots than yesterday; both were sitting in heavy shadows.

Nice blue start for Boomer. Hope he gives you a nice green surf today!
Wish you better luck in today's owl hunt :)

Bailey is also spoiled. I now try to time my tea during her mealtimes because she comes running when she hears the electric kettle, and she looks at me with eyes of bewilderment that the sound of the kettle did not result in a warm soup meal for her. Why did I ever start this warm soup thing in the first place?

My theme is endangered animals.
I love that! I think I may steal your idea for next Christmas!
This year our theme will be "We're visiting Grandma and her house is decorated so let's just enjoy that for now"

Once again, because I had to go out, I tested at +2...112....and because he had come down (when he doesn't usually at +2) I fed a wee bit.
Home by +3.....106. sigh. Once again he would have been green had I not given a bit of food because of having to go out. BAH

Isn't it amazing how well they train us beans? ...and it always cracks me up when people say that cats are so much easier and more low maintenance than dogs. My dogs love to drink out of puddles, eat whatever I put in front of them, and eat pills in the tiniest bit of food.

+6 was 128
The Great Horned Owls couldn't be located. But we did go on to the other park and the Eastern Screech Owl was sleeping it it's hidey-hole.

Nice start for Boomer. I hope you spot your owls.

I never thought of a theme for Christmas decorating. I use ornaments from my childhood and ones I bought that meant something to DH and I. Like my DH use to golf so there is a golf ball ornament. He liked Odie so there one of those. I have 3D bird ornaments that I painted (liquid embroidery). And one for each cat we've ever had except I don't have PJ or Olive yet. I never went for the traditional ball ornaments.

We have traditional ball ornaments and I have a few I've received as gifts over the years. The best ones are the ones DH and I collected when we travelled.

Looking like I might have to give a dosecrease soon. Boomer...are you listening?
You don't want that Boomer so come on, let's get that BG down!

I hope I get to see my grandchildren this Holiday. :bighug:
I hope so too! I just found out I'll have all three of my kids with me for Christmas (age 20-28), and I am beyond thrilled!

Same here. Add to that my kid's creations, and we have had a very interesting tree for years. I'm ready for something different next year.

We have paper snowflakes that the family cut out the year we had our first full-sized xmas tree, but no ornaments or lights. Now these are the first ones we put on the tree. Many of our ornaments are wooden painted animals. A prized ornament is a cloth Santa that was on my father's family's tree in 1894.

Hey Judy, today I saw a large flock of migrating ducks standing on the thin ice/next to open water on Lake Flower (center of the village). They were resting; when we walked back home they were gone. I looked them up in my bird books and I think they were Northern Pintails. Exciting!

Bring it on down, Deputy Boomer!

Oh I've never seen a Northern Pintail!
