Call me crazy but Reverse course!! His numbers get worse as you go up. So I'd drop back to under .5 I think your vet was on to something just didn't drop him back far enough.

The reason I took him back up was because he went higher every day. It seems that not matter the dose he keeps climbing. There has to be a reason for that.
She wanted me to take him off the insulin for 48 hrs to see if he was try to go OJT, but if he even gets a furshot he goes sky high. A cat trying to go OJT doesn't skyrocket when they miss a dose. Maybe I should take him off and see if his pancreas will kick in.
I dunno, I'm at a loss. I feel like something is wrong and he's gonna die if I can't get his numbers under control. :cry:

It's almost seems like the Lev isn't working at all. The R takes him down and when that wears off, it's a steady climb.
Vet did mention maybe the Lev wasn't working for him anymore. But what's left? PZI? Do they even prescribe that anymore?

Actually its Prozinc now which works the same as PZI but is different insulin. Which is as much as I know about it.

His PMPS may have been a little less. It was an hour late. He was fussing at me about 7 and no matter what he wasn't happy. He wanted me to lay down and cuddle him. He does that. So I did, but fell asleep, so his shot was late. Doubt I have to worry about giving it early in the morning though. A temporary increase won't lead him to hypo for sure.

Maybe its time to look at some alternative dosing schedules.
