Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. Oh-so-close, Trix, oh-so-close....

@julie & punkin (ga) - I've heard from a variety of sources that pet food manufacturers started adding fruits and veggies to cat food for humans - a psychological thing that makes humans think it's healthier if their cats have cranberries, blueberries, etc. I'm inclined to agree. I know I finally got my civvies' tummies stabilized by stepping back to the most simple food out there, and what did they company do? A few months later, "improved" the food by adding in all the crap I was trying to avoid - and it adversely affected my cats once again. So frustrating! There are a few stray fruit-less foods out there, but not many.

Anyway...no outside the box surprised today. Hopefully it was a random, isolated incident yesterday. My suspicion lies mainly with Noah, but there is no way of knowing for sure. They all seem to be feeling fine.

Got cookies done yesterday...have to get some jewelry made today for a customer....

Prayers to all....

Amy

I definitely see that 100 as green :D
I was complaining to my vet quite some time ago about cat food in general and why the manufacturers felt it necessary to add fruits and veggies to food. His response was that, in the wild, the cat would be eating birds, mice, etc that might have consumed fruits or veggies.
That being said, I really don't feel it's necessary to add them to cat foods. I especially hate it when I see potato or sweet potato added

So relieved Miss Trix...I see green Amy. :D IF we ever get another cat they will only eat raw or home cooked food....but of course it's the cats decision in the end as to what they will eat. If it's not the fruits & veggies it's the "gums" that is added.

Glad to hear the poop out of the box seems to be an isolated incident! Hope you enjoy the studio time today.

Yah for green:D
I agree a lot of the cat food has unnecessary things in it. I know when I swapped to home made for Sheba her general health improved and it was so nice to see recognisable food on the plate!
