Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is inching up the bg scale, it seems. We'll see what happens today and maybe go back up a drop tomorrow. The penultimate decrease (on 15 December) didn't really have a chance to get established and the numbers in the 30s on that dose were probably shed action from the previous dose. So if we go back up a drop it will be from a skinny 1.5U (2.11mm on the calipers) to a straight 1.5U (2.22mm).

Rusty had a good night, good test, good shot, breakfast of Wellness turkey, and now is napping in his little bed by the radiator. It's another dreary, rainy day. I'd like to go back to sleep next to the radiator, too, :lol: but I've still got cards to write and cooking to do for the Xmas party tonight. Off to my cards now. bbl.

Good morning Ella. Maybe Rusty just went back to the blue zone to say hello to some friends and is planning on coming back to the green zone later today.

You could very well be right on the dosing for Rusty. I remember that, when he had reductions so close together. Good plan I think to see how today goes, and then adjust if it is needed. it is a great satrt today, even if a little higher than the past few days. Work that juice Rusty!!

Bummer on your weather! we had a light snowfall last night, very minimal, enough to leave a light dusting. Already it is melting... We may have this pattern for a few days yet. heck - maybe some snow on Christmas! Now wouldn't that be something... I can't remember the last time that happened. :lol:

Enjoy your day today - and the Christmas party - sounds like fun! Good luck with the cards..I so need to do mine too!

Morning guys, good luck if you decide to add a drop. Good luck on getting stuff done today. A nap by the radiator does sound nice! LOL! Hope Rusty comes down to the green lagoon soon! Have a great day!

Well, the LagoonMeister looks like he wants another reducie. So much for my thoughts this morning! I wonder if he'll bounce.

He had half FF T&G and half Wellness Turkey for lunch (+5) and some FF T&G as a snack at +9. All was gobbled up. He's really enjoying all this extra T&G!

So. The lasagna is in the oven. The grab-bag gifts are wrapped. We will be leaving for the party a little after +10 (4:40 P.M.). I'll come back home in time for Rusty's PMPS (6:30 P.M.) and then head back to the party. The party dinner will have been set out, so I hope there will be some left! I hope Rusty won't be too low at PMPS, but onset won't begin until +4 (Levemir).

Congrats on the reducie! I was wondering what Rusty was up to when I saw that AMPS number. It's a good thing he reads his condo. :lol:

Have fun at the party. I've done the return home for PMPS many times. Eat appies, drive home for shot, drive back for dinner and dessert. I'm sure Edward will save some food for you.

I guess Rusty didn't want that dosecrease. I hope he comes back up in time for you to leave for your party. Have a good time tonight.
 
Hi again,

Rusty had a FF T&G snack at +9. When I went back from the party to test him at PMPS he was coming up, so I served his normal dinner (Wellness). We got home at +4.5 and he hadn't touched his dinner. But his bg went up in any event. He began to eat as soon as we got in the door! (he "saved" his food; ya never know!) So now we'll see if he bounces tomorrow. I don't think I should take a reduction for the 38. It's too soon after the last one. But maybe the experienced eyes see it differently.

Exhausted after cooking all day and eating all evening! Lots of delicious, rich holiday fare. The rain has turned to snow. We are snug in our house. Rusty is on his way upstairs.
