Happy Saturday everyone! I just thought of something that made me smile rather than gnash my teeth. Shadow is giving me all the freedom to do what I need to do with this ugly pink. I could curse the the number, but after all, it is not a red yet....and so I will just realize that my thoughts can be elsewhere this morning. in stead of focusing on Shadow's numbers.

He had 4 Ps yesterday, and 3 so far today. He is his usual purring sweet self this morning. Hope you all have a wonderful day today! I am going to attempt writing out cards. My handwriting is unrecognizable with the tremors I have going on. It is very difficult to write at all and so I am hoping I can manage the shortened list I have. There is a boat parade tonight and the boats all come down our canal. It is usually very festive and colorful. Amazing the effort that people put into decorating their boats in hopes of winning the prizes!
I remember 30 years ago when DH's Uncle used to send us pictures of the boat parade. He owned the building and lived in this apartment back then. It was such a big deal to the old folks to watch the boats Ha. I am one of the old folks now..... :lol:

Boat parade sounds like so much fun Pat ;-) and hope that Shadow moves down a floor or 2 for you today happy Caturday ;-)

Boat parade sounds like fun to watch, Pat. Around here, folks vie for prizes for house decorating. I don't see much of the lights, 'cause I don't drive at night, and I live on a small dead-end road, with no neighbors nearby.

Pat, I'm glad no one is listening to what I say to Curry on the voicemessage....I feel kinda dopey doing it......I do use her name and the word "treats" alot. :mrgreen:

Hi Pat, I'm going to send many of my cards as e mails. But not everyone has e mail, and some people don't think an e-mail Xmas greeting is appropriate, so I will also be writing out some cards (gotta let old friends know that we're still alive!!!). Enjoy the boat parade tonight. It sounds really neat.

Hey pat - I hope you feel better soon. Right you are on those ugly pinks... Mannie gave me those yesterday. AT least I knew I could go and do some fun stuff - like lunch with my DD. Enjoy the boat parade - it must really be very nice. Good luck with the cards - I haven't done mine yet either.... aiyee....

Good Morning: Shadow, shadows are not supposed to be pink. Is it really that interesting up there. Hope you decide to come down soon. Pat, hope you have a good day. Yesterday's weather was great today, not so good. Cool and rainy.

Morning Pat...well, it's creeped into afternoon there. Shadow and Gracie did the same thing this morning so don't feel alone and you're right...permission to do something else. The boat parade sounds great...I've seen those before and it's so cool.

4 Ps for both kitties today...It was rainy today but the rain stopped and the boat parade went on as scheduled. It was very nice...but there were only about 30 boats entered. Amazing what people can do to decorate their boats. They were all yelling "Merry Christmas" as they came down to the end where we were. It was very nice but over too fast.
I did get my cards done today! Yay! I really had to force myself to stick with it until it was totally finished. I am really shocked that I didn't leave some of them undone and move on to something new. I will not get an A in penmanship though! Oh well.
