Panzer was not acting right this morning after AMPS +4 feeding he left a little bit of his food & I thought he was going to puke. Thankfully he didn't & a couple of hours after laying around he was running around playing. I've been having a really hard time testing him because his ear is sore. I tried to get blood out of his right ear today. After 3 pokes no success so back to the left ear it was. I am trying to only test him through his lows (& of course before his shot times) so I can catch a low # to see if he needs a reduction. I normally see his lows between +3 through up to +8. I hate to test him that much,but I want to catch the low #s. He still gets up in his chewy box that I put on the kitchen table & lays down ready to test. Sometimes I get hit & clawed other times he's a good boy.I understand though,I know I wouldn't want my ear pricked all the time.https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...-pmps-173-114-3-87-4-91-5-100-6-117-8.256809/

Have you gotten the pure coconut oil yet for his ears?
Poor baby . Tyler has one ear that is easier getting blood , the other ear I try to warm up a lot. Eventually the other ear started to bleed better

Yes I put it on his ear & Spook usually ends up licking it off. I've tried warming his ear with the rice sock but he thinks it's a toy so I use a wet warm paper towel. I've gotten blood from the other ear a few times but after 3 or 4 pokes I give up.
