Good Morning LL,
Again trying to drop in to say hi for Alex with too much going on. Alex has some kind of UTI and did wonderfully on Clavamox for about 2.5 minutes when he started vomiting He has had this reaction to it before and other times he has not so I waited a day and tried it again also putting Culturelle in his food (which he has been very picky about eating lately), and tried again and last night he got horrible diarrhea so back to the drawing board. All I need is something that upsets Alex's stomach and makes him eats less. Now if I gave him Bumble Bee or people turkey every meal...that he would eat ohmygod_smile

This Thursday Jackson is going for an ultrasound. Hopefully I will finally find out what is wrong with my boy that is causing him such distress when he breathes so much of the time. I am so thinking the worse which is so wrong cause he's had a lot of chest xrays and nothing abnormal other than an enlarged heart which he is and has been on medication for has shown up but... I am scared. But I want him to get the proper medication if it's something that can be controlled. The same doc who did Alex's echo is doing it (the one who said he had 3-4 months to live over 18 months ago) so I'm trying to figure out a way to deal-in my head so I don't go nuts- with 'Dr.Awful Bedside Manner" because she does do a good ultrasound. Anyway...I'll be needing some good outcome prayers and vines for Jackson on Thursday morning at 10:00AM.

Otherwise both of my guys had their breffis (sort of..I tried telling them about the starving cats in China but I think they just don't care much for breffis anymore), and all p's are in order for Alex except for playing. He doesn't play cause he shouldn't. But man, he sure is cuddly so I'm glad I got him extra purry and cuddly pants for Hanukkah he's wearing his out fast!!! (Jackson too)

Have a nice Sunday everyone!

Oh dear, Alex don't be spewing (from either end) anymore, k? That A/B is supposed to be helping. I hope his UTI will clear up quickly. But very glad he has an extra pair of purry pants! That is so cute.

And I'll send lots of good healthy wishes for a clear ultrasound for Jackson. Best of luck on Thursday. Sorry about the doom and gloom vet, some are just that way aren't they?
Please take care of your eye. Ouch, that must be painful.

[Celi, that is too funny!!!! Arrr]

Hi guys - WOW, lots going on there. I hope you can find an AB for Alex that won't upset his tummy so much. - bummer that he react to the Clav. Mannie and i will send lots of anti-spewing vines for Alex, and hope that the UTI clears up soon.

I hope too that all will be well with jackson. it is never fun when we worry about our furkids. I hope the U/S goes well, and whatever the issue is can be easily taken care of. Good positive vetty vines for Jackson.

And you too! Ouch on the cornea! I hope that heals well, and quickly,

Just stopping by to say we've got you, Alex, and Jackson all in our thoughts. It sounds like lots of kitties have a tough time with the clavamox...

Healing vines, thoughts, and prayers for all of you!

Amy
