Today: AMPS 116

Today I need to find a pharmacy that has syringes with 1/2 unit markings. Upon diagnosis in Nov., I went to Costco (where I got Ripley's Lantus vial) and 3 different WalMarts, with no success -- eyeballing the .75 dose is tricky. If no luck today, I'll look into online-ordering...

Good luck with your search! We dont have any half marking syringe in HK. I can only use the digital caliper to help a bit.

I found the syringes!

I took a cell phone snapshot of the Relion box from their website and went to Walmart.
I was told they don't have any with 1/2u markings, and I told the pharmacist that they indeed DO have them (I could see the box from where I was standing).

I wonder if the other Walmarts I visited last month also carried them, and they just didn't know it... :?:


It's amazing how much misinformation I've encountered since Ripley's diagnosis, starting with her vet. If I had followed and stuck with his guidelines, I'm certain I would've lost her by now.

Glad you found the syringes, I was going to suggest Walmart too. I used to get them from there all the time but they now require a perscription to purchase them. I order them from adw now. Nice amps for Ripley! Have a great night. It is amazing how much misinformation is out there huh?
