Finally switched over to using the calipers for real today. I was waiting to do it until he earned his next reduction, but he tricked me yesterday and didn't go quite low enough. So it looks like he got a Lantus dose increase from 4 to 4.5, but actually the dose has stayed the same. It's just being measured more accurately with the calipers. Same for the R dose; actual dose this morning was 1 U.
