Mowgli had a rough old night last night wearing his cone. He really can’t figure it out. I woke up this morning and it was covered in cat litter and cat food. Thankfully I’m working from home again so I can keep an eye on him and leave his cone off through the day. It’s hard to stop him from cleaning himself though because he’s an obsessive groomer and obviously he wants to clean his right eye out because his sleep is building up in there.

The vet said that we should get results from his biopsy sometime next week so fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about. I have a good feeling it isn’t but if it is I’m glad we tackled it early!

In the mean time Mowgli made a sprint for the lagoon this morning. I’m slowing his roll with some MC.

Poor guy ! Such a sweet man! LOVE the Christmas pictures !

Prayers that the cyst is benign & that it heals quickly for him. Last January we biopsied a lipoma on T & had the same situation with the dreaded cone. Taking it off and watching him worked well. I hope it goes smoothly and the days go by quickly.

It’s certainly not easy. Already mowgli got a few face swipes in. I basically have to sit beside him if he feels like cleaning himself to hold his paw down from his face. Hopefully he hasn’t done any damage to his eye. I can’t bear to see him in the cone if we can help it though so I’ll leave it off as much as I can.

I'm just seeing this now. I hope Mowgli is doing well today. I love the Christmas pictures keep us posted on his progress. Have a great day Amanda

Thanks Carla, it’s such a relief that I can be close by so he won’t bother his eyes. He has got a few little face wash swipes in but luckily nothing that aggravated his eye.

I think mowgli heard your wishes for a nice surf. I love seeing him in these numbers
