Happy Furday! Mannie had a nice day yesterday - surfed the yellows through the AM cycle, or so I believe, winding up the day with a great PM cycle in the greens. It looks like he may have stayed on that green surfboard for most of the night. :mrgreen: :-D I was gone most of the morning yesterday, and decided in the interest of his safety, knowing we were due for another green cycle, to carb him up a little before I left. so - fed him some 10%. Seems to have worked - I came home to a nice 201. :-D I hope he has a great cycle today, but do expect him to be up some after yesterdays greens. Mannie - you care to prove me wrong?

Normalcy in Mannieland this morning. :-D Breffis was a hit - I couldn't serve fast enough, almost lost two appendages in my attempt to pop the top on his Surf and Turf. :shock: He really does love that one. Auto feeder use was better, only took one look at him to remind him it was waiting for him. WOW - kudos to the power of the bean stare. He's been very affectionate that last couple of days - lots of purrs and leg rubs - it really rather nice. He just comes on over, starts purring, rubs my legs, and then takes off for the tree , or the nanners, or wherever. :cool: How cool is that? Love ya Mannie! cat_pet_icon

Kitties! The time is coming! A holiday party for US! I am feverishly working on plans.... I would like so very much to spend time with all of you, and even more so - time with all those kitties that are not so fortunate as we are. small hint: Miss Ella says we can come to Camp Stu! uhhhh Tess: you are not allowed to cut holes in the ice, again, and go scuba diving... so kitties save the day! party is coming! ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie! Yes, let's get some chicken soup to Butthead and give him a gentle spa treatment for the surgery smell. I'm so excited about Xmas Eve at Camp Stu. Next spring I'll be going there a lot. But this will be my very first trip there. I know that Stu loved it, and I'm gonna love it, too. I can help with the ice chopping. I've got furry paws that don't get cold!

I hope he just has a little food spike and will give you some more lovely blues today.

Mannie..I'm all ready to take KTSS to Butthead but I has to be home early....gots another eye vetty appt today so I may need some KTSS to get dat vetty smell off me. Mamabean hates da vetty appts....my sugar goes up...doesn't that just make me sweeter???

HI Lisa! Maybe all that stress was transferred to Mannie... maybe that explains those awful numbers this afternoon.... :lol: yep - baby due any day now, she is in the pre-labor process, so: Soon! . Her actual due date is 1/4, but none of her Dr's seem to think she will last til then. YAY! - a holiday baby!

Hi Karrie - thanks - we are all very excited, and can't wait for his arrival. on the KTSS - yeah, it's a new one, and not in the slang. It stands for Kittenhood of Traveling Soup and Spa. several months ago one of the kitties was sick - Ella's Stu. Mannie decided to bring him some chicken soup - since he believe it cures anything. shortly after another kitty was sick- Muffin I think, so Stu and Mannie decided that since it worked so well for Stu that they would take it to Muffin. Other kitties started to come along, and it was soon after that Ann of Ann and Tess gave this traveling band of soup carrying kitties it's name. The spa portion was added by Tess, and named by marjorie and Gracie when another soup recipient had also been to the vet, came home with that vetty smell we all know and love, so the kitties decided to add a spa line to their menagerie.

Roni - Xanax might be good idea. :lol: :lol: :lol: omg if this baby is born on xmas.... it could very well be. My poor DD - she is so ready. And thank you for the wishes of normal BG for Mannie and peace for all of the rest of us. Wouldn't that just be the best - for all us beans?

Yes, the woodstove is fine (there was nothing wrong with it; it was a "cold air dam" in the chimney).

Hi marjorie - I know - I didn't either. He took the express elevator down. I think maybe I should have fed a higher % - don't know.... he has been surfing the greens for a while, so maybe it's enough to hold back that bounce from that fast fall. confused_cat
