12/17 - Leo saw a blue - should I hold a bit longer

Hey!
Woohoo! We had a blue today! After several days of pinks that was great to see. I do see higher numbers for a day or so when I do an increase with him. I guess it's the New Dose Wonkiness.
I had messaged yesterday and we had talked about holding for 8-10 cycles. Today is the 8th cycle. I was going to increase tomorrow but since I saw a low blue should I wait for another day? So increase on the 19th-20th?

Increasing the 20th (that would be after 12 cycles) but we will be at a Christmas Party on the 19th (the day after 10 cycles) and gone most of the day. I really don't want to increase him on a day I can't check his numbers. We have a party on the 20th as well but it's in town and I will be gone later in the evening. I would feel better about checking before I left on the 20th.

I don't want to hold it too long, but I also don't want to worry about him while we are gone and him possibly dropping too low. Dang holidays I am already holding him at a later injection time, so I have time to get home from the parties and keep him on schedule.

I would hold the dose until after the party on the 20th after getting 116 on the alphatrak meter.

I would hold tonight and see if you see more low blue. If you do 10 cycles makes sense to me. If mid blue wait for at lest 10 cycles. If you want to wait for after the party that is fine too.

Thanks! Yeah, I just don't want to chance it and I would be worried sick about him while we were gone. I usually see some higher numbers for a day or so when I increase his dose but this would be the time I didn't. I may also see another bounce from the low blue, that happens a lot with him too. I wish I could just take him with me lol but that would be way too stressful for the both of us.
