Harley and Pattie

Good morning everyone. It has been a while since I have posted about Harley. He is home and doing fairly well. Vet wants me to get him off the prednisolone and back on budsonide. Harley has been up and down with bg readings. I need to update the ss cuz I have been lazy. Kept great notes but have not entered anything other than the last couple days.
This AM I am trying a new feeding routine (you all have been suggesting this to me for a while). I am putting together his full breakfast but only feeding him ½ of it. Before I leave for work, I will feed another ¼. I want to see if his bg stays down.
Harley has been bouncing around on 8 units. 100-496 bg. Vet brought him down to 7 units but he was not acting right. No ketones but very lethargic, not wanting to do anything. Vet took him back up to the 8 units but same thing – high, low – high, low. I took it upon myself to split the difference. Harley is now on 7.75 and for the last 2 days, been doing rather well (I have listed those readings).
