Yesterday's Condo

This morning, Gabby decided the hallway did not require guarding. Instead, the living/dining room required her scrutiny. In fact, she was not in her usual place in bed -- she was sitting in the dining room waiting for breakfast instead. Even after the first installment of breakfast, she returned to guard duty.

Got a little rhyme in your day today, Sienne!
Hope you guys have a good day!

Re: 12/17 Gabby AMPS~174

Good morning guys! Sure is nice to have a kitty on guard duty as often as Gabby is ... neither one of our kitties care much for guard duty! Let's see you come down just a wee bit and surf ok? Have a great day guys!

  Officer Gabby's On The Job...a guard cat like her=security.
binks on guard...mmm...not even for the mice. his mouse has taken up residence in the laundry hamper...and when i shook it loose...he wouldnt look at me for 2 hours.

i dread the day the adoptocats spot the mouse...

nice blues, Ms. G!

We have kitty antics!

I have a set of bookshelves in my BR that are open on each side -- they're not completely encased. When Gabby was first diagnosed and the cats were confined to my BR due to Gabby having contracted ringworm at the ICU, I cleared off a shelf so Gizmo's food was separated from Gabby's. Gizmo has continued to think the shelf is "his" mostly because he will jump up there to survey the room. Gabby just decided that the shelf was worth checking out. Gizmo, once he realized his spot was being appropriated, took a swat at Gabby. Swats were returned. Gabby finally leaped off of the shelf onto the bed -- easily a 3 - 4 foot jump.

I'm amused. Clearly Gabby was feeling good evidenced by her both jumping onto the shelf and then onto the bed. Frankly, she's looking very smug. Gizmo walked off and gave a yodel in the bathroom just so he could hear the echo.

Gotta love those kitties and their interaction! Gabby must really be feeling her oats today: first pointedly waiting in the dining room for her breakfast, then the bookshelf caper. Gizmo better get wise to her soon, or she'll appropriate his springs.
Enjoy the evening and the weekend.

Don't you love how kitties lay claim to areas they don't frequent often, but if someone else dares tread there....watch out! Fun to watch for you. Yay for a far-jumping, happy Gabby! We have a bathroom yodeler too (Kiki). I was never sure if she was trying to call me or just singing...

Nice big jump Gabby. I think she is feeling her oats :-D

Thanks for the kittie antics. Daily fix. Sounds like Gabby is feeling a bit spunky. Who is in charge of the shelf now? Be interesting to see if Gizmo retains control or Gabby asserts her status as matriarch and takes over. Have a good night.
