Soo many kitties gave their beans a little scare yesterday but earned reductions! Everyone did great and congratulations to you all.

Time for a new alarm strategy for tonight. I sleep on the love seat recliner with my alarm set for a PM +8 the last 3 nights and it's not getting me up. Obviously I'm sleeping like the dead or something. Getting the old school alarm out (not my phone!) which will wake the neighbors and I can't put it in my lap and fall right back to sleep :banghead::banghead:

Surf safely today L&LL kitties!

Both babies had a great time helping me wrap presents yesterday afternoon!

I love seeing pictures of everyone's kitties! When Snick "helps" me it usually involves her sitting on all the paper and chewing on it. LOL
 
Doodles has be giving a surprise performance these days so no complaints. Just wonder if I should be testing more. Should I have gotten the +4.5 or 5? I just know that when he eats he does surf right through and also gives me the double dip at the end of the cycle. Also working on a better alarm system for the PMPS +8/+9...

Why did you wait until +7 to test after you got the 54? I would think a +5 test would be a good idea to make sure he didn't drop too low.

I'm kicking myself but had to run out to the shop for a bit. Since he was fed I banked on him not dropping any lower. With his AMPS & PMPS numbers these days I am wondering if I'm missing the below 50.
 
If he's dropping below 50, you'll catch it soon enough. He looks like he did surf today. The next time he has a number like that, if you are able it would be a good idea to get another test in. There are times when we have to leave though. Don't be too hard on yourself.
 
Woke up in a panic this morning cause I didn't get up AGAIN with my late night test. Then to see that 66 this morning...just a little on edge but he's been fine. Playing like crazy.

You are getting a good range of tests to paint a clear picture, and that picture is making it look like there's a reduction in his not too distant future. I think you'll catch it soon enough.

Vyktor thumbed his nose at the dawn phenomenon this morning too!
 
Honestly I didn't really want a reduction today...but agree it might be soon, we'll see what Doodles decides to do. Thanks for the reassurance and so happy for you and Vyktor!
 
Close watching tonight...he's killing me with these pre-shot numbers...:nailbiting::nailbiting: I don't get how he can be holding these numbers so low & well all of a sudden but we're not complaining.

Looks like Mandarin and Doodles have been talked again. But since I slept through everything last night, I am at least well rested and ready for a low pre-shot. And I started putting my phone on the dresser across the room so I have to get up before I can hit the snooze button.

I like they are hanging out together! I'm naturally a worrier even before this...sigh but it's all good stuff! Yep, time to put the phone out of reach :woot:
 
When they do this.....quickly quit bouncing and start throwing out gorgeous numbers....we say they have "snapped". The trip down the dosing scale can sometimes be quick and somewhat stressful for the caregiver. But he's fairly flat...which is what you want to see.

Thanks for the visit Marje. Glad he "snapped" and do agree that he's pretty flat just never thought it would happen for him:D His pattern also shows he runs a tad higher at night instead of lower like most cats. Maybe the alarm mishaps are my subconscious telling me he's fine....no need to get up at 2am-3amo_O

We're all lucky to have people like you here or we'd still be a disaster with FD.
