Yesterday was a blue day for Cleo, with a possible dip into the lagoon. She is has 4 's in place. It is cold here this morning, 34 F on catio. All kitties are btb. Cleo's appy was okay.
DH's work called at 5 am (15 minutes before my alarm :evil: ) and asked him to come in today. So, I will leave out extra food, and get a test before I leave. (Please cooperate Cleo!)

That's a pretty decent drop at +2 this morning. You leaving some MC out today?

So, Cleo walks out from her bedroom at +2. Comes right to me, and her BG was 88! Quickly fed her some HC, left out MC & HC in many different spots. Let the dogs out in the yard, and then put food near Cleo's sleeping places. It may take them a while to smell out the lower hidey spots.

Surf safely sweetie - Don't think I will be able to get home at lunch :?

Yes it is cold today, but I love it when I can have a fire in my fireplace this time of year!

Any opinions on a good, soft, kitty carrier? Cleo hates her current, hard carrier, and I am looking at trying a soft sided one. Reading all the reviews, but can't make up my mind.

I don't have a recommendation of brand. Just be sure you measure Cleo, don't just use weight.
I bought one that could hold a 20 pound cat, when Checks weighed half that. He didn't fit. :o
Unfortunately, I forgot to take into consideration how looooooooong he was. :lol:

I have 2 soft ones. The one I like to use most often opens flat at BOTH ends and the hardboard bottom slides out freely. This is VERY handy at vets when animal doesn't want to come out - just grab board and slide - Viola! CAT/DOG! The other one's bottom is velcro'd in place and one end only unzips half way down on each side. The only reason I use the second one is that it's larger so fits my 4 BIG cats better....

Thanks for the opinions. I think I need one that is at least 20" long and 15" high. That should fit my longest, Simon.
And I will check to see how the sides open, since Cleo has never willingly gotten into or out of any carrier!

I used a soft one when I first had Chyna, but I didn't measure and it was fairly squishy :oops: Now that she seems to pee her carrier at the vet everytime it seems better to have a hard one for us! :shock: But I did like the soft one, it was easier to get reluctant animals in and out ;-) Hope you and Cleo have a nice evening!
