Good morning!
AMPS 290 shooting 2.5u
Apparently the bounce from the greens two days ago isn't over yet. Hopefully he will come down from it today.
Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds, leaving only about 1/3 of his +6.
Yesterday morning I headed out and stopped at 3 places for birding/wildlife photography. The songbirds all made themselves scarce and I saw only a small number of Goldfinches and a pair of Cardinals, neither of which wanted to make themselves available for photographs. No eagles were seen. One of the places I stopped at was the cemetery where I had photographed the pair of Great Horned Owls last week....they hadn't been seen since but I did manage to find one of them yesterday! In the afternoon DH came out with me to another park where a pair of Great Horned Owls nest each year; they wouldn't be nesting yet but I keep hoping to find them in the trees but still no luck. Then we drove to a different park where I had been told there was an Eastern Screech Owl. And we found him! YAY! He was asleep in his favourite tree cavity when we found him. Photo attached.
Now if only I could find a Snowy.

Today on the agenda: well DH has a bone density scan this morning. The hormone shots he is receiving sometimes affect the bone density so he will have these scans likely every 6-12 months now. And since Boomer presented me with a not-so-lovely 290 this morning, I will be able to go with DH. The test is early so we should be home by +3.5.
