Sorry no posts of the weekend, it was busy! Had company X-mas party on Saturday night. Spent Saturday running around getting an outfit and doing errands then partied till 4 am. I am getting too old for that. Sunday was a cuddle in bed with Jones and Rain till 11am and then out on the couch to cuddle the rest of the day. Such a hard day yesterday - just cuddles and cat naps.
Ok we are now on day 14 of good poop with a couple of bobbles. He had really good poos with some soft serve at the end for Sat/Sun. Then it was all good this morning. So, I am still going to count those days and say we are now at day 14. The vet said I could drop down the metro once at day 14 but I leave in 3 days. So I am thinking just to leave everything alone until I get back. Discussed with the cat sitter and she agreed.
Other than that. He has quiet days but he is grooming more, purring more and it seems like he stoppped losing weight. Didn't put him on a scale because that just freaks me out and don't want to stress myself then Jones with me leaving soon.
I have upped his dose to .75 and he came down nicely and gave me a green and then bounced right back up this morning. I wanted to bring him down a bit overall before I left and then I think I will leave him on the .50 units while I am gone. He will be tested 4 times a day for 5 of the eight days, have his food like normal.
Thanks for all the continued well wishes! We are on day 17 of our 30 day Hail Mary approach and so far it seems to be going well. I have hope, which is something I didn't have before our vet visit on the Nov 30th.
